S.F. Decom saved my Burningman!

Post by cornelius » Sun Oct 24, 2004 12:50 am

Thank you all for putting on such a great, grand and glorious party / event! That party made me remember why I love BurningMan in the 1rst place. It's all the fantatic people who attend it! 99% of the attendees are in costume and everybody is friendly and having fun! I started having a bleak out-look on the event somewhat after this year...too many human masses of spectators, not enough fun lovin' burning man People! Ya know?
I loved every minute of it!

I got to meet Muse from Spike's Vampire Bar and see some scarrrrrrry people with fangs! I loved working the popCORN palace again!!! PoPcorn Goddess and PoPcorn BOY are the most wonderful humans I know. Secret shots of Petron (sp?) Tequila with the Goddess herself! That creepy clown grrl who mocked me and silently mimicked me in the street when I was ranting about popCorn (in order to scare up more takers. And best of all, dancing with the "It" grrl herself at the IMAGINE sign! Woo Wee! What awesome beats!

And I even saw Bitterman getting a laser brain treatment at the DeCompression Doktor's booth!

KID BEYOND KID BEYOND KID BEYOND KID BEYOND KID BEYOND!!!

I love you all!

It's kinda funny, but I noticed the the Famouse "Love Parade" is nothing compare to Decompression.
What do you think?

I haven't been to the LOVE PARADE so I can't make a comparrison, BUT I did go to the Folsom Street Faire a few years back, and let me tell you, that aint nothin' like burning man, decom, or ANYTHING I've ever seen. Very cool. Lotsa leather. Lotsa cop/military fashion. My favorite thing was bondage style people dressed as horses, either prancing about or pulling carts or being spanked with a riding crop. Whew.

Love Parade was Awesome.

Post by tonytohono » Fri Oct 29, 2004 3:15 pm

I personally thought the Love Parade was awesome. As far as partying goes it was the best single day event I have been to in years. As far as visual stimulation goes, Decompression was better. Then again, I spent the day comparing DC to BM and we all know that doesn't work.

But if I had to choose missing one between the LP and DC... hmm... I'm only glad I don't have to.

Yeah Cornelius you sassy robot you. I got a laser brain treatment at Decom. And it's helped me think alot better...yeah that's it...and the medication is working fine...and I don't break windows anymore since some lousy fucker punks threw an egg at my little honda and broke the damn windshield! And with Bulsh as prez agian it's gonna get worse, more gapers, less performers and artists and crazyness, more logo T-shirts and perfectly clean $200 sneakers on Saturday. Woo I can hardly wait! Next year man, NEXT YEAR!
