First Time Burner from Ventura

Post by AngelaMarie » Mon Jul 22, 2013 11:59 am

Hello world!
I'm Angela, excited to travel to the Playa for the first time this year. Curently I work for a non-profit that focuses on farming and food justice. I hope to bring an assortment of pickled veggies from our farm to share on the Playa. My brother has gone the last two years and I am excited to join in this experience and have loved meeting other Burners throughout the year. Planning on being at Barbie Death Camp and volunteer as a Temple Gaurdian.

I'm looking to meet other Burners in Ventura County and
I'm still looking for a ticket, so please help!

Angela

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Angela, are you in our database? Don't seem to see you at first glance. Or are you Schultzy's sister?

Hey there! I'm also a newbie burner and eplaya-er. Have you tried posting a "ticket wanted" post on craigslist? I did that last week and stated that I would not pay more than face value. I also said a bit about myself, yadda yadda yadda, just like you have in your OP. I got two responses within 24 hours. I was shocked. Sometimes people with tickets go looking for people who want tickets and don't seem like scalpers instead of posting that a ticket is available; that way they don't get a flood of people responding to buy the ticket. Good luck!
