Getting Married on the Playa!

Post by missmegandixon » Wed Jul 24, 2013 11:38 am

HI there!

I'm looking for a totally awesome burner to marry my fiance and I on the playa!

Via the Burning Man website, I thought this may be the best way to find a radical individual for such an event.

thanks everyone!

Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Good Luck. I think you need to get the ball rolling on legal marriages yesterday. If the officiant doesn't live in NV they must submit a request and have it confirmed before they can perform your ceremony.

As a radically self-reliant individual I assume you are looking up all this info right now. Best of luck with your nuptials.

Indeed. It's a huge process. Legally, we may be too late but we've decided that just having a commitment ceremony is great too! :-) Thanks for everyone's help! See you in the desert

All I can say about all these we're-getting-married-holy-shit-we-need-a-minister posts is that I hope you didn't jump into the marriage itself in the same kind of rushed, one-month time-frame you're planning this wedding in before the festival.
