i'd love some, BuckIt. It'll be cup No. 2 today. (i got woken up to a cup of tea and a glass of emergen-c this morning - this is what happens when you sleep with burners! it was lovely!)

i was thinking about you at PDX decomp, when the man was burning.

i think i got the horse shit off of my boots now.
but my car is still splattered in mud.

Well.... It was a good weekend... and now I get to dive into the new computer system that went online early this morning... Mass chaos and insanity has ensued.... we are building baracades out of cubicles and piling old 386 machines around them.... we expect the authorities to fall upon us at any minute....

So... how about a glass of sack?

i had a very odd experience last night.
i was in a newstand and spotted the JPS (journal of Pal studies, which i haven't looked at in ages.)
i spotted some photos.
several shots in, there was one of my town...
one the day they killed my friend.
the caption even mentions him, just not by name.

you, know, you'd think that you'd get used to personal loss being splashed across newsmedia, but it's really a mindfuck.

what a weird moment.

ENVY

SLOTH

GLUTTONY

WRATH

PRIDE

LUST

GREED

That the act of the sinner may be imputed to him it is not necessary that the object which terminates and specifies his act should be directly willed as an ends or means. It suffices that it be willed indirectly or in its cause, i.e. if the sinner foresees, at least confusedly, that it will follow from the act which he freely performs or from his omission of an act. When the cause produces a twofold effect, one of which is directly willed, the other indirectly, the effect which follows indirectly is morally imputable to the sinner when these three conditions are verified:

*first, the sinner must foresee at least confusedly the evil effects which follow on the cause he places;

*second, he must be able to refrain from placing the cause;

*third, he must be under the obligation of preventing the evil effect.
Bring it on!

Yes... are these Mortal sins or Venal sins, or can we have one from collum A and two from collum B?

it has got to be 5 o'clock somewhere... and i am ready for a beverage.

since i don't feel like saying fuck a whole lot, i'll vent here...

i woke up this morning at 4AM got to work by 5:15... worked until 8:15...

picked-up my stepson and took him to traffic court... got him in early, sat through an hour or two of justice or not...

outcome... $150 fine, $50 driver re-education/safety classes, and $85 in court costs... and the young pup has no job, hasn't paid a dime for any of the auto expenses to include insurance...

i would enjoy a drink... all the way until darkness sets in.

thanks for listening to me whine.

That would be a white whine.... the red whine has more to do with people kicking you off of your property to build condos.

I was also very relieved when I saw the Yellow Chicken on the boards this morning. The last I saw of her she was pounding shots with a bunch of truck drivers and daring them to whip out their 'particulars'. She had actually put about three of them on the floor at that point.

A little fireball, our Rian....

you drink enough and then you don't have to drive at all.
you just fly.
the trick is drinking enough to fly your car, too - for 270 miles.

SeaCom is right around the corner. I think it is going to be madness when all the people from the Eplaya get together. There will be at least 10 of us all there at some point, I think. We will all drink be merry and of course cause all hell. I will be distributing hugs for all those that need it (just don't question the placement of hands.. ;) ha ha).

Well, my world no longer looks like a Dali painting; I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Sea-Comp is... November something or other, I'll have to check and get back on this one.

HEY! Does this mean there's a chance that our hostess with the mostest will be in attendance?
