god, i haven't had alone time with you in ages.
i figger they came either
1) because they love a good fight, or
2) to keep it from getting too nasty.

you are a confusing cat and no, that's not part of the charm

my better judgement advises detachment but I downsized my better judgement a long time ago

I think in one particular thread you might have misstakenly thought that I was hazing you over the logic thing. Just after that I got the trying to picka fight thing from you. Those salvos were laser locked on to Dana. It went pretty ape shit on the eplaya during that period.

The barflies have been so busy that the non-general discussion section has been pretty fuckin dormant

most of the time, Stu, i'm just flipping you shit rather than angry or even irked.

the lack of inflection in typescript is a problem.

the 'mock angry' comes in quite a lot.

I would hope you are not confusing or mysterious to yourself. That could be a serious problem. As far as other folks perceptions are concerned...

well, if many other people are having trouble decoding the messages I think it's worth examining. I think it would be hard to judge oneself confusing to others or not. Unless it was your intent to be so.

It's popularity.

I am

The Loverboy
Random Gentle Love Master (RGLMm)

Well-liked. Well-established. You are The Loverboy. Loverboys thrive in committed, steady relationships--as opposed to, say, Playboys, who want sex without too much attachment.

You've had many relationships and nearly all of them have been successful. You're a nice guy, you know the ropes, and even if you can be a little hasty with decisions, most girls think of you as a total catch. Your hastiness comes off as spontaneity most of the time anyhow, making you especially popular in your circle of friends, too.

Your exact opposite:
The Billy Goat

Deliberate Brutal Sex Dreamer

You know not to make the typical Loverboy mistake of choosing someone who appreciates your good humor and popularity, but who offers nothing in return. You belong with someone outgoing, independent, and creative. Otherwise, you'll get bored. And then instead of surprising him with flowers or a practical joke, you'll surprise him by leaving.

ALWAYS AVOID: The Billy Goat

That's it, one or the other?

Is this a static condition or can we decide who to be in any particular situation?

it's from some goofy personality testing site. My wife asked me to check it out. She's a peach according to them. I lend about as much credence to the results as I do to meyers briggs or some test that tells me what character I am from Donnie Darko. I can get the url from her if ya want.

Yeah, it was 4 in the morning and I was canned. We just got home from a party and were talking about personality tests.
