3 Aussies + 1 New Yorker looking to add onto Camp

Hi,

We'll be going to Burning Man this year for the first time. The 4 of us met on a beach in Sydney during New Years Day this year – and as the day turned into night – many drinks later – we decided to continue the party at Burning Man by making a pact to reunite at Burning Man and soo – here we are.

We’ll be self-reliant i.e. we’re bringing our own camp equipment, food, fun, and an R.V. for the 4 of us (so we definitely won’t be mooches). We plan on arriving to the Playa on Wednesday or Thursday – but can help out and volunteer – as well as assist during the “Tear-Down,” etc.

What we’re looking for basically is a larger group / community of people to hang with, meet new friends and have fun.
We’ve got our “stuff” together so to speak, so we’re not seeking logistical help, or for want of food or anything. We are merely just looking to be a part of something bigger and make new friends in the process.

Plus - we love a good evening party (and we're hard workers to boot). If you can read the info of how we met - you'll see that we're an adventerous group by nature.

3 Aussie Female friends – 25 – 27 years old; live in Sydney Australia; Basically fun and warm Aussies who love a good adventure and will be roadtripping through the U.S. and Mexico after the Burn

Earlier in the week is better IMO. You'll miss a lot of things if you show up on weds/thurs.

It's refreshing to see people looking for a camp primarily for the sake of being social and helping further a camp's mission. Note that as RVers, it may be hard for a placed theme camp in the dense inner streets to save you sufficient space for very long. It doesn't hurt to ask, though. Bring some fresh fruit with you.

In addition to making a post here, be sure to email a few camps in the forum that appeal to you. Many camps wait to be contacted and do not actively recruit.
