IMHO if someone wants to be an idiot and start some bad pooky over random labels, trucks make a lot more sense than dunning people due to their race. You are STUCK with your race (well, there is Michael Jackson I guess) but you can trade-in a truck on a whim.

GD, I love that article and yet, I have a new campcot that folds up and lets me rest peacefully anywhere (I got it after sleeping on the military cot Yggy had at the Hof) ..am I changed in color ?

Detroit , that requires a brave I do not possess.
It mixes white corporate in . eliminates the free sound

Learned to drive in my Moms Plymouth Fury station wagon. Three on the tree, 2-bbl, 360 cid. 8 mpg. Chicks loved it (not!). Then I got 440 magnum Challenger with a factory 6-pack and MOPAR made a believer out of me.

(BTW Yigmir, I think if you have a fire truck, it doesnt much matter what else you drive since everyone gets out of your way! Hopefully they wont notice the camper shell until after you have passed them.)

That is true! and I've found they don't have much of a sense of humor either. I spent 15 minutes in line, at the store listening to some guy argue with the cashier, after refusing to pay. his purchase totalled $6.66.

It's not, which is what makes Doc's comment even more egregious, it I'm correctly understanding what he was inferring.

I'd disagree. to me, he was trying to be as ridiculous as the statement was. Illustrating like with like ( I know there's a term for that, but can't remember it).

Which is why I asked him to clarify, as the illustration obviously escaped me. (Not to mention that the comment was stereotypically racist.)

Nonsense. Simon stated, and that's what I commented on, that if Detroit was 83% white it "...already would have been bailed out..." That is the only racist comment made. And it smacks of typical left-wing racism: Whites rule the world and everyone else is just in their way. So get off my back.

for all of the claims that people have made that they embrace whomever and that basically, the question of race is unimportant to them... there sure is a lot of bickering and fighting whenever the subject comes up...

even in this thread!

so, perhaps we 'embrace' racial diversity in our camps.. but its likely that we've still not resolved all of the lingering divisive issues among ourselves.

Can't we all for once just pretend we are all the same color, no race?

Let's say, Green, and then we can segragate into light green and dark green camps.
