Drastic change in plans, kiddies. I won't make the LL tonight... Burn the place to the ground for me. I'm out.
what's up??

Hey, S-man, let me check - the person with the house pretty much made an open invite, but i want to make sure. (The 3 actually referred to Sam and his son and his son's girlfriend, but i can see how that was confusing considering that i did spend the weekend with not one, not two, but THREE insane portland eplayans. )

oh, and there was a 'don't bring the party back to my place because my landlady lives upstairs caveat. but we'll wear you all out.

I'm working my contacts across the space/time continuum for a varient on the "never empty coffee pot" containing actual good coffee (the never empty french press with arabica organic beans?) so that I can donate it to the bar and there will ALWAYS be coffee here. The problem with cosmologists is that coffee's to practical for them to care about.

While we're at it we can shun the IRS for their really bad forms.

I had even packed some lippie for him, too...

I like to live on the edge.... sleep on the edge? No.... Sorry, I'll be good...

Rian, doesn't everyone here know what an evil, disgusting, spiritually bereft, atavistic, devolved troll you are?

There! *proudly* How was that ?!

It's just basically like I cryptically said in the fuck thread.

I'm in a non-exclusive relationship with a boy. I try not to be a burden for anyone, specifically him. I try not to have expectations, because that seems to me to be the fastest way to be disappointed by people. He recently asked for my opinion on something: he was getting a live-in housekeeper, and wanted to know if, if he hired a female, if I would be uncomfortable. I said that yes, there'd be some issues that I'd need to deal with, but they were MY issues. I was trying to be non-intrusive. I was trying to be fair.

Instead, he felt, I guess, insulted that I didn't seem to notice that he was concerned with my comfort level. I think.

Anyway, I just got done writing a huge email trying to tell him that, while I appreciate his concern, I don't think that it's my right to expect it, and that, ultimately, he should do what he needs to do, and I'll worry about my own shit, issues included. I then had to go into some of the jealousy/inadequacy issues that I've been dealing with as of late with him...

blahblahbalh...

another drink please.

It's just all very frustrating. It's about finding the balance between being independant and still needing someone. That's something I've been struggling with a TON lately.

Dang. He asked you a question. You gave him an honest answer. If he wasn't ready to hear that he shouldn't have asked. Okay, he gets points for worrying about you if you chose to give them. But you're not asking him to wipe your butt here, just saying the truth.

Oh well.
