Dang! Lot's of birthdays today! Eric! TITWI! Happy days all around.
TITWI, you might be interested ( or amused) to know that a friend and I have been home brewing for about a year now. Last night I kegged five gallons of English Ale and five gallons of Cream Ale. We have regular brew nights at the house here and are enjoying it a lot. Karine says we need a tap in the kitchen. Who am I to disagree?
( sets up a round of homebrew for the whole place)

He's pretty much terrific.
So far the beer has been good and getting progressively better. I won't know about the latest batch until it's been under pressure for a few more days.
Good to see you here.
We're talking seriously about making it to the playa in 2014. There's been so much happen in the last few years... It's been hard to break away, but just the thought of heading west a year from now has me almost giddy.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
sure love to seeya LCN, you and Karine are a light in the darkness.......
I still recall our first meeting.........you were driving your Contraption, I was driving my "tongue rider", passing on open playa. I realized that must be you, and you must have done the same.....both stopped and ran out and met.......hahaha....never having seen you for real, and yet, hugs and smiles and back slapping.........the real beauty of eplaya, and BRC.

Awe... Thanks! You just made my night with that. It never ceases to amaze me the uniqueness of the bond that can form through a computer screen and some dust. Thanks for being you.ygmir wrote:sure love to seeya LCN, you and Karine are a light in the darkness.......

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
indeed Pal, indeed.
It's damn nice, to "sit" around here, and really see the nice folks who inhabit the place........talents, intellect, humor and good looks.
yeah and think back to those gone away.......for real, or just not hanging here.......good times.
well, fun is at hand, and all the consternation will be immaterial soon.
The dust is the grand equalizer.
"to the dust"..............
*raises whole bottle to lips, drinks to the dust, and the ghosts...........*

*wanders in, makes tea*
well, ticking those chores off the prep list. But it sure seems there are more things, than time.
I'd be happy it's Friday......and sort of am. But, the thing is it means time is running out to get "all the things" done.

Whelp... today's gonna be a long day. Ran out of the house because I was late for a early lesson this morning so I didn't get my coffee. And now the lesson is half an hour late (probably not even coming) anyone want to being me an Irish coffee?
