I think this would be pretty bad ass to bring out next year on normal size house speakers but have no idea how this is done. Help?

Looks as simple as using the back pressure from the sealed speaker box to pressurize the water and shoot it up.
Water goes in a plastic bag with openings on the top, lights to make them look colorful and some decent powered speakers.

Possibly easier if you are going bigger but would take alternative power. You could hook a pond pump up in each speaker box and wire it through the speaker wire (as long as its amplified it should put out enough power to run the pump. typical speakers run on 12v) but you would need one per speaker to make it clean.
