OMG Sale Registration Issues

Ugh, It's the second and I am looking to REGISTER for the OMG tickets.

Got a profile, it's hard to log in but then it mentions you need to register on the homepage? question is how do you register for the OMG sale if you have a profile.

To register for the OMG sale you'll need to click on the link available at http://tickets.burningman.com. Registration is open from 12pm (noon) PST on August 2, 2013 to 12pm (noon) PST on August 5, 2013.

same here, I'm on 3 computers, using my profile, my friends and his wifes, nothing is responding when clicking pre-register.

Their servers must be swamped.

I'm having the same problem as well, i've had a Burner profile created for awhile now. When I go to the Burner Profiles homepage and fill out my username and email. The registration button doesn't do anything, no confirmation what-so-ever.

Nothing here either. Not sure if it's a server issue? The button literally does nothing when clicked.

HI all! I'm a virgin trying to get one ticket so I can join my friends on the playa. I have been in STEP since late August. I thought that, after the July 31st cut off date, I would no longer be able to buy a ticket through STEP.With this in mind, I am currently trying to pre-register for the OMG sale. However, I push the pre-register sale button and nothing happens. Is this because I am still eligible to buy a ticket in STEP? Should I still be waiting on a ticket In STEP Or is there some other reason for this sad state of affairs?

Is anyone else having difficulty preregistering? I'm on the BM profile homepage and have entered in my details but for some reason when I click the button it depresses but that is all. I assume there should be some kind of confirmation that I've preregistered. I'm using an old laptop at a public wifi source so it could just be me and my lack luster tech. How are the rest of you going?

Three threads merged and thread title lengthened to try to keep all the registration issues together. This is a high traffic time, since we're 25 minutes into the registration period. I'm guessing that there will be info coming soon, probably from Trilobyte. There is time left in the registration period, so please don't panic.

So, I believe that the submit button is working. I received a raw confirmation of "rc":5,"data":"You have already pre-registered for the OMG Last Chance Ticket Sale." ... Don't know how true this is, but i'll take it!

I've never tried to get tickets online for a major event like this - I'm assuming this is typical?
I started trying to pre-register for the OMG Last Chance ticket sale at noon, pst. The website does not respond when I click on the "pre-register" button.
*sigh*
Anyone else having this problem? I'm guessing many, many people are trying to do this at the same time. But I worry that clicking on the button over and over again may mess up my login attempt?

Thanks, Savannah for the information. I presume the load on the pre-registration will lighten up as we have two more days to register, but what is going to happen on the 7th when the sale starts? Any tips on the best way to fairly engage in the upcoming first-come sales process?

Received the following confirmation message after submitting:

Thank you! You have requested access to the OMG Last Chance Ticket Sale on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, starting at 12pm (noon) PDT. You will receive a confirmation email no later than 6pm PDT on August 6. This email will contain a link to the sale and your unique pass code for accessing the sale.

But, it doesn't appear as if any data was actually submitted. Also, you can hit the submit button without entering in any info and still receive the success message. Doesn't seem right yet.
