Hello all,
We're both first time Burning Man visitors and we're looking for some guidance pertaining to the camping situation.
I noticed a lot of camps don't seem to have space for an RV, is it difficult to find one that accepts them?
Any suggestions on camps we should look into, or should we join a camp at all?
Thanks so much for your help!

Not necessarily, although it's getting a little late in the year to find a camp. Theme camps had to ask for placement by April 30th, which means they needed to request approximate square footage. Theme Camps found out about their locations and square footage in early July and have been configuring camp since then.jorgelopez wrote:Hello all,

However--there are still camps looking for people. The amount of space they have probably varies quite a bit. Check this forum for something that seems like a good fit.
RVs make good wind blocks, so many camps appreciate having some.
You do not need a camp; you'll almost certainly have neighbors except perhaps on the very furthest outer streets in a few places. I have more often than not camped with one or two other people and just introduced myself to neighbors and neighboring camps. I was able to come & go as I pleased, with no responsibility other than to myself.Any suggestions on camps we should look into, or should we join a camp at all?

Re: Couple with RV Looking for Camp
Thanks Savannah,
We go the tickets last since a friend of ours couldn't go. Next time we'll plan further in advance.
I kind of like the concept of not being tied down somewhere, and I figure we can just walk around and be where we please, and just use our RV to sleep.
Thanks again,
