You're quite welcome, all. This was the reason that I ASKED. Simple courtesy. The same courtesy is due anyone you take a picture of on-playa. "Ask Before Pictures" is something that B.E.D. promotes. I stand in solidarity with them, and with my fellow burners in respecting the rights and wishes of others. If we take anything away from Burningman, that's one thing that should be emphasized, respect for your fellow human being.

SPAM = 'Something Posing As Meat'

Almost as bad as MREs.

Bacon is the ONLY meat candy, the gateway meat, and its own food group.

Well obviously, bacon is the very finest savory meat candy in the land, a priceless treat known to occasionally reclaim even the most stalwart of drunken, salt-depleted vegans . . . but I assure there is a most curious temporal phenomenon known as the Spam Window, a span of time often during but not limited to childhood, during which--if SPAM is consumed, particularly cubed, fried, & served with scrambled eggs--the exposed subjects are particularly vulnerable to becoming indoctrinated in the ways of its strange, vaguely shameful, gelatinous glory.

I never bring SPAM to the Burn, because I don't how to explain my possession of it to the highway patrol during a routine traffic stop, but if it's offered to me once a year? Sure, I'm down.

. . . I'd like some scrambled eggs too, though.

MREs can go fuck themselves.

When I was living in Austin, TX they had a festival called "SPAMarama". It was a lot of fun. The area's chefs would all gather and compete to make the best gourmet dishes using SPAM. It was AMAZING what they came up with! The public would then sample the dishes and place their vote for various category winners. I just hate the smell of raw SPAM - fresh opened can of SPAM - GAG!

OK I know I've posted in here before, but I've changed what I'm bringing as a treat. And SPAM kinda makes me sick just talking about it, let's move on...

I'm bringing my favorite Fluffer Nutter sandwiches. (Crusts will be left on...that's how I roll!)

Or I could make them on Ritz Crackers like my mom does...mmmmmmmmm

OK, both! I can't wait to meet all of you!

Mmmmmm Spammy. Could the person in charge of the sign-up list post it again? I know it's only a suggestion, not a commitment. I just can't find it in all of these pages. (Plus it's a good idea to let everybody know that you're counting on them for a full spread of food and beverage). YES! It is happy hour here in northern Califa. An hour ago I would have found that spreadsheet with NO PROBLEMO.

I'll be attending the event with my BMBFF. Sojourn. He wants a new name and I'm leaning towards Loosey. It has a nice ring to it. Or maybe Surely. Certainly not Patsie or I Lean.

Yes, indeed! Don't worry too much. Just bring something. Food, booze or ice. It doesn't have to be some homemade cooked-from-scratch dish.

No one wants you stay home fretting over whether what you have is good enough. That would be far worse.

I couldn't add anything to the list. I wanted to say I'm off to buy really cheap beer. Hey. 30 cans of fuckall for $12.95. At that price I can fill the car. Plus I AM bringing that Galiano. Take a shot and wash it down with a cheap beer chaser.

I'm a bar manager amongst other things.

I already stocked up on sardines and I'm bringing a lightweight table. (Just in case I can't wrangle any).

Oooh! Oooh! I'm interested in the sardine cans. I can't eat fish, but I saw an assemblage with a sardine can as a base--fell in love!

I'm sure you meant a flattish sort of sardine can, but these with tomato and chili are quite nice. and I'm sure they are nobody you know.

Just a little something I picked up in Bali.

Crypto, I ran across a small bag of bottle caps from thailand or somewhere in asia. Were these meant for you?

I'm bringing conventional sardine cans. I will wash and save them for you. Kiss, kiss.
