I have many sins but I do my penance in my own ways. And I have accepted my errors as a part of me whether or not I like them.

I don't know it doesn't sound like you committed a sin there. unless maybe you were in the film.

we need somebody a lot more judgmental here to paint things in black and white.

To me, there is a path that leads to the only true and mortal sin: you do something that you think you shouldn't (by the way, thinking of doing something is doing something; you're thinking), but this is only the first step on the path to sin, not the sin itself. It then goes to guilt over what you did. Guilt is caused by fear... fear that you did the wrong thing, that you'll get caught doing the wrong thing, etc. Fear comes from the unknown. We don't really know what's right and wrong, we don't know if we have to pay for this, we don't know how to do the right thing, whatever the fuck that is, and we don't know how to stop it all. This is all coming out of ignorance: not knowing It All. So, the only sin there is, is NOT KNOWING IT ALL!

Well, shit... I can live with that.... no problem, except now I'm driven to understand it all....and because I don't, I'm fearful, guilty, wrong, and feeling somewhat stupid. So I'm a sinner, I think.... aren't I?

What was I talking about? Where that wine....?

I've got Irish cream, Tequila, and whiskey in the house but I'm shy on mixers. I think I'll juice up the Irish cream with the whiskey. I don't think my stomach could take shots tonight

ya sin, well, like I said before there may be legal implications here for some, and certainly some sticky stuff too. And there's no anonanimity here, others know where to find us. So that being said I'll start off with an innocent enough one....in 1976 I joined the republican party for one year only. there I said it. Did I loose my leftist credentials? I don't know. I'll have a drink.

Reading through right wing ballot measure should be pretty entertaining but I will be right here most of the time.

You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but what ever possessed you in 1976 to become a republican?

I was living near Hillborough California....wealthiest community in the SF peninsula...this is where George Bush stays when he visits here...I think the vibes ran off on me like slime, and I guess I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.... once in awhile, I still get mail from them...weird.

Wow, Cowboy... that was honest! Hey, I voted for Nixon... several times, in fact... but only after he was run out of office, and the presidential choices were ludacru... ludacru... stupid.

Hey, Sandwichman... do you know, if I squint my eyes, and get at the right angle, your avatar looks kinda like Mother Teresa? Gotta' lean to the left a lot, and scrunch down a little... maybe it's the wine... but you get a bit of the Albanian Saint thingy going there and... whoops

*falls off bar stool*

Shit... haven't done that in a while... ow.... hey, theres some interesting stuff on the floor... change... used condoms.... someone's pink panties.... rabbit fur.... an old Nixon button.... Jimmy Hoffa's hair piece... and a bunch of uncounted chads.... cool...

I think I'm going to crawl out the door and have a smoke... see y'all in a bit... I hope....

Never having been a hard driving assertive type I tend to see a lot of things in history as being shaped by a man following or doing something to impress a woman.
