ME:
> 4th year on the playa
> Last two years completely solo
> Virgin year organizing a camp of my ex and 40 of our closest friends (went amazingly well, but I certainly learned my lesson)
> Avid fan of hammocks, jungle gyms, spankings, coffee, whiskey, and any combination of the previous
> Completely self-sufficient, including the mostly-rabbit fare that I ingest
> 27 year old sapiosexual, logophile, Volunteer Coordinator/cat herder who loves spreadin-sheets
YOU:
> A camp on the perimeter of the 9:00 side with a place to hang a hammock and a front porch view of the Black Rock mountains
> Enjoys and abides by the idea that an entire year of work hard equates one week of play even harder with as little responsibilities and plans as humanly possible when enduring and endearing together in the middle of the desert
> Knows that many hands make light work, even when you're so tired that you can barely lift your arms and oh-my-god-my-brain-and-my-body-they-won't-work-together-but-I'm-still-helping-with-this-stupid-shade-structure
Down to pay dues for shared shower and shade; I'll be contributing water. Will always throw in to throw down with dishes, building, tearing down, and other shared chores, as long as it's not scheduled responsibilities. I probably won't be at camp very often.
Shenanigans, two-armed hugs (none of that half-hug bs) and conversation must be included.

From one logophile to another, welcome to ePlaya, limewithatryst!
I hope you find a good spot to hang your hammock.

When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

Thanks, BoyScoutGirl.
Meeee too. This is the first time I've ever sought to join up with an established camp. I typically roll in to BRC, get thoroughly dusty, set up a tent, and call myself home. With so many prime hammocks around the city poised for a nappin, I've yet to hang mine up.

There used to be a hammock camp near the cafe.

From the main site click on "theme camps", then 2013 in the margin, and search for "hammock".
4 results, 3 if you don't count the camp where you can make your own banana hammock.
Some of them might be welcoming new people; who knows.
