okay, kids. I hate to do it, but I have to call it a night! Eyes can't take any more monitor-viewin'.

Thanks to all for participating in "Bring Yer Sin" night at the bar - please continue. Fr. Angel is blindly handing out penances and absolution at a very reasonable rate. *winkwink*

Yo, geekster!

That is an impressive animal you keep leashed.

A few pages back buckethead posted a list of possible reasons you have not been visited as frequently by the fairer (fairie?!) sex as may be your want.

My guess is your gigantic cock falls under either PRIDE or GLUTTONY or maybe (har har) ENVY.

Gosh, that was kinda judgemental of little ol' me!

I just came here for a drink, forgot it was drink at home night.

So yes, I have now mixed a mighty scotch & Sprite (a fairie!) & water & ice.

Loved your ballot post, Sandwichman (and the Sox redux by our visiting pentient).

I'm glad that you are voting, and that you keep abreast of current events via whatever source you choose. Some pretty heated debates going on elsewhere on this site..... which is why I stay in The Bar!

~still hopeful for a drink w/a twist~

Goodnight, fair miss tisha2. May all of your dreams come true.

I like to toss a grenade or two into those discussions and then run away before it goes off. I can't get too wrapped up in it. The whole thing kind of reminds me of Laurel and Hardy arguing with Abbot and Costello. Pretty comical to watch as they all get their blood pressures up over mostly bull. About 2% of the stuff being slung back and forth in those are truth. The rest is opinion and made up facts. When things get too quiet I will go in there and poke the nest with my stick though. It is kinda fun to watch when I have nothing else better to do.

I do not believe in sin.

Time was made for correction.

Change an ever present choice.

From that list I do not recall ever feeling ENVY, SLOTH or GLUTTONY, though perhaps because I have gone down the list sucessively to entertain still:

WRATH (i do think ill & pose attack mentally)

PRIDE (these words, for instance formed just so)

LUST (i am often beat with this)

GREED (do i trust manna/providence enough to give freely?)

anyways, keep smiling, my freinds.

And please, can someone pour a drink for me w/ a twist?!

Just for old times sake----------

Waiting on an angel
one to carry me home
hope you come to see me soon
cause I don't want to go alone
I don't want to go alone
Now angel won't you come by me
angel hear my plea
take my hand lift me up
so that I can fly with thee
so that I can fly with thee
And I'm waiting on an angel
and I know it won't be long
to find myself a resting place
in my angel's arms
in my angel's arms
So speak kind to a stranger
cause you'll never know
it just might be an angel come
knockin' at your door
knockin' at your door
And I'm waiting on an angel
and I know it won't be long
to find myself a resting place
in my angel's arms
in my angel's arms
Waiting on an angel
one to carry me home
hope you come to see me soon
cause I don't want to go alone
I don't want to go alone
don't want to go
I don't want to go alone

Would you all raise your glasses with me virtual and real and toast to friendships forged and lives lived within the passion of the playa....

You all are appreciated in my life even the damn Sox fan (they deserved it, I won't lie) You make me smile and sometimes your comments hit my soul and warm me with the feelings of your lives. It is nice every time I meet one of you in person. I look forward to more real life meetings and friendships forged in the real world.
