Hey, Moon, "this too shall pass" and you will be better than ever. With your wonderful spirit and outlook you will overcome. We'll all be having you with us on the Playa this year and drinking toasts to you at the MnG. And then, next year .... watch out!!!

Morning YG. The Frankencamper looks better than ever!

Have a great day, kiddies

Morning everyone, long time no talk. Hiya Marty. Popped in for just a second before I start my day. It is my dad's 90th birthday and he will be here in a bit. Crazy energy he has. Good inspiration as I cant get off my butt today and start the process of packing for Burning Man. Cant wait to see everyone in the dust. 18 days till we leave. Have a great day!

Good Morning, All!! And a fine one it is... just had a wonderful breakfast with our very own FIGJAM, halfway between our two places. I now have all the tickets our little clan needs, thanks to him! Yes, he's GOOD... just ask him!!

Made My Day
moonrise wrote:Thanks Triken....you lil' humming bird you! (that is a compliment) you're such a mellow gal...and when I hugged ya' it felt like I was hugging a lil' humming bird, hehehe..
I know you know what is what after you and the sisters (Delle and_________??) told me all about Aaron, how's he doing? Healing well, I hope?!!

and off I go... to red tape hell....what fun! Obamacare is causing to change ALL of my doctors in the MIDDLE of this fracking medical ordeal...my timing truly is sucky these days, fuck! Not to mention all of the other domino effects the foot dragging caused...hell the Clintons might've passed a better/just as good health care system for all we know....

:coffee: anyone? It's gonna be a late night.... :|
Hiya Moon!! Our other sister is Neata, and there's another yet, who hasn't been to BRC. Aaron is doing pretty well, here almost three years after the accident. His left arm doesn't work too well, or the hand, but he seems to have adapted pretty well to that limitation. There's some residual nerve damage all over from the neck down with odd effects, but at least he can walk! He's dealing with similar doctor issues... I can relate. Best of luck getting yours sorted out!

Happy Sunday Everyone!! :!:

(now, for :coffee: :coffee: , since I had to leave so early..)

Tanx ever'body :)

Great advice Marty! I'm in that "time heals all wounds" period, grrr...

Perhaps Doc can video a segment of the M&G of the en mass toasts and cheers for the MIA burners who just couldn't make it out this year for one reason or another...and post it in the newsletter (hint hint Felony, our new Mayor to be...good luck babe!)

Much love, Moon  :coffee:

Hi Fishy. Hope you're having a good day. Been at a Bday Party in The Redwood Bowl in the Roberts Park off Skylline in Oakland this afternoon. Beautiful spot and great food prepared by a professional chef for his GF, the birthday girl

Hi Triken, WB, FJ and anyone else I might have missed. See ya soon!

This is the time of year when a lot of folks are realizing just how little time is left, and are racing around trying to get stuff done. I've been bouncing around between lots of different projects, painting, clear-coating, running errands and checking in on stuff while my gf's been sewing and painting.

In other news, I'd gotten the go-ahead from BettieJune to pass along some art stats earlier today. I posted them in the honorarium thread, but in case you missed it, nearly $900K in funding on 90 projects, record-breaking number of registered projects (beat last year's previous record back in May), and 102 pieces of registered art will be burning (either a burn or plenty of flame effects). The man pavilion sounds like it'll be the biggest one yet, 120 feet across...holy crap!

Ya know.... I just bought some PBR and put that in the full-size household refrigerator I'm bringing (with an EU3000). I'd like to see you two loudmouths show up for a cold beer at my camp at the same time. How can we arrange that? I'll provide nerf swords.
I saw Unjon recently -- he seemed to be at fighting weight.

Did anybody here see the hippie who wanted to bargain for an Early(er) Arrival pass -- by cross posting, even? Our splendid moderators disintegrated him of course (but not before he sent me a discourteous PM), but that brings me to my ePlaya Board (strictly tongue in cheek) Feature Request: We ought to have a dungeon where disgraced would-be ePlaya participants go -- so we can heckle them for a while yet. The Schadenfreude thread.

Morning graidawg! Morning goathead! Need some coffee? Just made some.... I've been up since 3am - Again! My baby starts kindergarten today. So, combine that fact with the one that I had too much fun last night and I'm awake - when I should be sleeping- waiting for the ibuprofen to ease my fat head. Oh! I've got ibuprofen too, if anyone wants some (shakes the bottle and sets it on the bar).

I see your drawbridge and raise you a moat.

And maybe Frankencamper and Millicent could have a quick draw contest?

I'm feeling silly this morning. Maybe because I leave in 16 days!

Good morning and happy Monday and whatnot. Started out late, no time for caffeine, and then of course racing to the muni stop only to discover it's horribly late, ridiculously crowded, and running very slow... On a chilly and overcast day, to boot. Blargh! Fortunately the laser's working like a champ so far today, so that sorta makes up for it, I'm hoping the rest of the day will rally.
