AHA!!!
Now, I get it... though they must have started over with the big boardpocalypse a while back (or something), because some of the names upon which I know I've clicked (way back), are now orange.

And those greenies of which you speak, why, they're demigods, I believe. Look at what they do to keep this place together!! Three cheers for them :!: :!: :!:

By "them", of course I mean "youse", but I don't know how to spell 'youse' if this is incorrect...

As a fellow gay Eric heading to bm this year, partner in tow, what do you recommend I do once I'm there? Can I be your shadow?

Very rambling, and I'm not sure I can discern an actual question other than the spelling of "youse", which is, shockingly, correct. I would recommend vodka.
aserendipity wrote:But surely they will paint you multi-coleur because you are The Triken !
Incorrect. Too much coding to get the colors, and you have a very unnecessary use of spelling à la française.

There are more than two of us, trust me on this. I recommend getting on your bike and going that way, over towards that thing, and stopping when you see something interesting, plus stepping into random places on the backstreets. You're in the gay-friendliest city on the planet. Not perfect, but pretty damn close, go enjoy it. As for being my shadow - no. You don't need to stand behind anyone, go forth and adventure.

Dear Eric,

I am the type that sometimes worries about missing something (I sleep for 3-4 hours a night for exactly this reason) so I read eplaya via the "view unread posts" option (and I don't exclude the ticket sections). Try as I might, around this time of year, I just can't keep up. I have a job and something resembling a life (if you're liberal with the use of the word) and invariably I watch the pages of unread posts go from 2 to 3 to 4. Tonight I'm approaching 5 pages. I'd hit the "mark all forums" read button but I'm afraid I may miss the post that might mean the difference between life and death, a general sense of uncomfortableness on playa, or missing some post of cosmic significance, astute insight or one that may otherwise be exceedingly entertaining or mind-numbingly dumb. What would you do (I mean apart from the vodka part)?

As a follow-up, I just read the biking from airport thread. Case in point, if I had not I would not have sent the PM asking for name and address and missed the opportunity to take out a large life insurance policy in their name.

First of all, paragraph breaks are your friends. Don't be afraid to use them.
It's obvious from your post that you're not really serious about keeping up with ePlaya, as you are still working and apparently "having a life" of some sort. Don't come whinging to me if you're not willing to commit. This ain't no camping trip (that's in 2.5 weeks).

Ah, but who will decide if they're petty? That would involve me looking at them anyway, and since these simple questions take a mere fraction of my brainpower, answering them is no trouble. I shall still answer all, for now.

Paragraphs!....... Non-commital? ......PETTY???!!!

So now it's ePlayaian than thou, eh?

WELL..... I never!

You guys do know I don't have to come here for abuse, yeah?
I can/do get that anywhere/everywhere.

I have half a mind to take my business elsewhere.
Now there's a straight line if I've ever seen one

Oh Elliot.......

P.S. - As evidenced a scant 1202 (now 1203) times before I firmly believe the grammar and spelling rules are merely a mild suggestion
and that as long as one can convey a thought effectively the rest is just gilding the lily. As far as proper usage and decorum go.... well as a ePlayaian formerly held in high regard recently quipped "that horse has already left the barn".

P.P.S - You guys evidently forgot I wield a semi-automatic, genuine AK47 replica, battery-operated, rapid-fire, water gun and I'm not afraid to us it. Let's see how your clown pants, "almost fuckable" tshirt and bunny ears stand up to that.... suckas.

Incorrect. It's more 'Eric' than thou, "ePlayaian" is a pretty easy standard to obtain, even with the extra vowels you tossed in. You'll also note that Knowmad's request was denied, as I haven't yet deemed anything too petty for me to answer personally.
You guys do know I don't have to come here for abuse, yeah?
I can/do get that anywhere/everywhere.
Correct. However, they don't do it with anything close to the panache I have.
The rest was long-winded, but at least included breaks for legibility, so I'll give you points for that. I do, however, need to point out that I don't wear bunny-ears. As for the water-gun, if you're saying you'll use that on me when I'm wearing the clothes you quite accurately describe, it will be during the day. I'm not sure why having cooling water sprayed on me during the day is a threat.

Haha! I like it.

. . . I'm giving thought to going full-on Miss Piggy (magenta velvet gown, giant pearls) but the snout gets warm.

Also, I insist in staying in character the whole time, meaning there'd be a lot of hop-walking and threats. :?

I'm not sure why that would be a problem, unless we have fresh rain. Hop-walking in playa-platforms might be difficult. Threats are always fun, especially if you follow through with the "hi-yaah!"

Not sure what to do with my classic 5 gal swamp cooler pump. I got the solar pump from Harbor Freight and wondering if I hook it up to a deep cycle battery it would have a higher GPH than the solar panel? I would hope so, cause if not I may have to use the extra one I bought last year on my way through Utah. It much must better than the solar one, but it is 120 volts and might not be work the battery power. What do you advise¿

Pink tights, blue tutu, yellow sequined bra (please make sure the sequins are securely attached), purple fairy wings and a plastic silver tiara with a pink gem. Shoes should be combat boots, in dirty brown.

Well I think I might have to take up on this offer. Get the RV after these people leave on Thursday for 4 days!!!! I probably will have a dead battery, dead swamp cooler, broken monkey hut, and flat air mattress by Tuesday, it will be a relief!! It's ONLY $2,500!!!!

Center Camp Cafe. Why do you think people spend so much time dismissing it as a hippie hangout? They don't want the riff-raff intruding on their space.

Seriously? You posted a link to a commercial deal in a thread run by an arrogant Moderator? You must be wearing your "kick-me" shirt today. Link removed, make sure you're wearing fairy wings, really tacky fake-fur booties, & a blue bob wig to the Meet 'n Greet, and you best be hanging your head in shame when I meet you.

Well, since your sig-line refers to "good time floozy", I would say a 1920s flapper dress, silk stockings and high heels. All in pink, of course.
