Yeah, maybe you're right. Neither one of the camps I currently have leads on are "party destinations", so I'm probably okay (for me).

I think I'm being waaaaaaay too much of a perfectionist regarding camps. Last year I ended up with what I think for me was the "wrong camp", so this year I'm a little obsessed about finding the "right camp" (suggestions welcome) and not letting that happen again. Kinda stressing me out.

I wouldn't sweat it too much mang. I don't even know the people I am camping with and as I understand, I am the youngest by like 17 years should be quite the experience!

Words cannot even express how excited I am about this...
I know that it's not a good idea to have a lot, if any, expectations. I also know that I haven't even come close to imagining what I'll experience, and that not everything is going to be puppies and rainbows. But that doesn't keep me from being SO GODDAMN EXCITED.

O littlebird your excitement is wonderful, i may have peaked a little early in my excitement. As I am currently not working I can be full time obsessed about going home again. This has led to a distinct "meh its goin t' appen anyway" attitude. Now while this IS going to be the best year EVER maintaining full time excitement for 2 months is just beyond me. Being British any excitement at all is pretty difficult, but i usually muster a modicum for BM.

I'm definitely seriously considering going to the meet and greet! It kind of depends on when my ride and I end up arriving at BRC. We're leaving at the break of dawn from Simi Valley on the 25th and plan on trying to do a straight shoot by driving in shifts. That said, there's only two of us, so a motel stop might end up happening. Yggy told me that most of you crazy people will be living in Barbie Death Camp and that I should swing by there if it ends up I can't get to the m&g.

For some reason I thought it was on Monday. What time is it at? My camp is having an all-camp dinner that night, the only one that we've planned. We're also having our only officially scheduled party, one that's been added to the BRC calendar. It's relatively early, though, from 7 - 10. I would love to try to get to the m & g... I guess I'll see how things work out.

Well, you see that woman in the picture with me? My human costume is an exact replica of her likeness. We got a movie costume designer who has won multiple Oscars to make it. It was expensive as hell. My prom dress is a white skating recital costume that I got at a thrift store. White doesn't clash with anything, so no worries. I'll also be wearing a pink sash that announces me as the prom queen and will have a masquerade mask. There you go!
