Patch and sticker producers

Post by fresh » Mon Jul 15, 2013 11:56 am

What company do you find the best/most reliable for patch and/or stickers? I am rushing to get stuff done before it is too late. I am looking at a patch this year and got quote from patchwarehouse.com they seems to be on the ball as far as taking my design photo and creating and altering patch proof. i am looking at about $165 for 100 patches using 75% stitching and about another $25 to do 100% stitching. Increasing to 200 patches only costs another $50 or so. Seems reasonable, I just want to make sure that they are tried and true. Also with patch selection, having a patch that is two colors, one twill and one thread, a good design? it would be mostly twill only black stitching. Or should i just pony up the extra $$$ and do it 100% stitch? Again a quality vs. cost savings debate.

With stickers, has anyone use the stickerguy out of Reno? He seems to come up towards the top of search engines. Last year i use uPrint and did not do vinyl stickers, cheap but reall shitty. Will stick to the high quality this year. I am trying to do a rounded triangle design, so not sure what that would effect cost and time to prepare.

any suggestions/thoughts/ advice would be appreciated!

Barbie Death Camp only uses Sticker Guy for our ovals that we hand out. Well made, done in a timely manner. Is he the least expensive option out there? Probably not, but I have never been disappointed with his work. And a year ago they did a really minor screw up and I ended up with an additional 500 stickers for free. All I had to do was trim the "tail" off of them.

Thanks!!! Waiting for a response to my quote request. It might be moot since I increase the size of patch to 3.5" and it is not $2 per patch for 100. $1.50 for 200. Might ruin my budget for any other schwag. What do you think? Oh you might say why a patch? Dunno, ask Foxfur...

I've used stadri for patches (though you might be pushing it as far as lead times go at this point), and psprint for stickers (I like both their vinyl/outdoor as well as their paper/indoor stickers).

advantage emblem is a great company in the US that makes high quality patches. They can rush an order in 1week, but it will cost ya. I just paid about $200 for a rush order of 100 2.5" diameter patches. They came today and are beautiful!

I got them done by patchwarehouse. the turn around tine was super quick, less than a week. pretty happy even though the lettering was not perfect. I'm happy.
