I do love the colorful metaphors for puking. My favorites remain, Talking to Ralph on the big white phone, and Driving the porcelain bus.

I have a persoal hatered for the term to Puke.

Bartlett (1859) has "A nickname for natives of Missouri" as the second sense of puke (n.), the first being "A mean, contemptible fellow." The association of the Tribes with the "vomit" word is at least from 1858, and folk etymology talks of the old state literally vomiting forth Indians to reservations in Oklahoma.

Ordinarily I'd say something like, "I will rub your nose in it, and make you clean it up," but being sick out there is already so miserable, you've punished yourself.

So.. after we have consumed the food and drink, and everybody has met and gret... might some of us want to engage in a party game called Catch The Bike Thief -- as discussed in the past? I have five "unrideable" bicycles, also known as Bait Bikes. They are all different, but have the one thing in common that they are not much good for a quick escape. One is patently unrideable. Two of them stop after 20 or 30 feet. One can be ridden indefinitely, but only at a snail's crawl pace. The last turns the opposite direction of the handlebar, so is right next to patently unrideable.

No, I never built the one with the firecrackers in the frame. One day.

Shall I bring them? I suppose we would park them across the street, just within sight, and keep them in the corner of our eyes while we meet and greet some more.

I'm camping next to my plane at the airport because I'm too lazy to carry my tent anywhere else. And I don't know where else to go. Who knows? It's location may change nightly depending on my whims.

One of the funniest things I done ever seen was people hippie/raver fishing. They were a dark mass on one corner. A guy down the other end of the block was casting a line. Across from there, a big floodlight. I laughed til my face hurt. I like this plan, too, though it wouldn't have the immediate gratification - well, I hope not (ie, the turnover for bike theft wouldn't be as quick as it was for glowsticks/money).

Please talk the M&G up - invite anyone who isn't a bloody whinger. Tell them to bring some booze and snacks. Let's make this the best damn party at BM 2013.

Add to the spreadsheet if you want. Come up with crazy plans for after the event. Just get talking and get organising

If someone complains, or acts all whiny about the minutia - well fuck em - they are banned from future events (I can say that, right?) fuck radical inclusion if you don't participate

I'll need helpers to bounce and set up from 5.30 on Wednesday.
