ok due to packing restructuring i now have 4kg spare in my holdall, which is pretty full. anyone got any suggestions as to what else i can bring?

also minor crisis, i have run out of normal

so am forced to use the fancy stuff for the senseo coffee machine (first world problems huh)

also my mother seems to have forgotten how to work the internet!

wow, we're super smokey here. Eyes watery, almost wheezing smokey. There's fires on both sides of us, so no matter which way the wind is blowing, it comes here. It seems we're safe, in that there are several steep canyons, with rivers, and major highways between us and them.

eta: i have just a mass of unused space in the (which is in my holdall) which will be perfect for a bottle of malt vinegar.

I am coming to realize that there must be a box somewhere with a bunch of stuff from last year. I have no clue where said box is. Googles, bike lights, El Wire, head lamp... shit like that that would have all gone in the same spot is missing and I didn't think about it till today.

Never unpacked from last year, so no problemo! Great reading through 2 days of posts. Gotta go to LA for the weekend so that makes packing next week a bit compressed. ASD is looking for a ticket. Wouldn't be surprized if a call to BMORG in SF wouldn't be a good idea. They now have virtually no limit as to how many they can sell. Also, Craig's List is a good possibility, although I have not looked there recently.
