Purchased all my alcohol at the local supermarket that had some good sales. At the checkout stand I get the really cheery bagger who has to make a comment about everything she's handling. "MMM I love Makers Mark" etc. After the fourth bottle of booze she starts to get the idea, the checker is kind of laughing, and everyone in line is wondering where the party is.

So I tell them, "its all for me...It should last me about a week." And I wasn't kidding...not sure if they could tell or not.

HOORAY.

mailed myself my butane fuel for my camp stove today.

friendly folks at the post office are usually a bit 'oh.. uhh ok' when you tell them its a class 2 fuel but once they look at their little chart they are all smiles.

the lady was like 'so ya need yer butane for the hotel?' (cuz the addy said it was a hotel) ..nope! a camping trip..

then i mentioned how awesome the USPS is for allowing the mailing of such things, as their competitors dont..

plus it was $3 cheaper than i figured.

also went to the DMV today to get a new ID..... which i look totally awesome in.

Yay. Just finished soldering my very first EL wire from start to finish. I did have a coach show me all the steps right before, and he shared a few tips. It's not hard, but a bit tedious and I had to go slow to make sure I didn't miss a step (which I did and had to go back and cut the ends and start over one time). Now I am thinking about all the ways I can light up my night time accessories. So far I will have two hats and a tux tails. I need to do another coat and perhaps my camel back. Ooooh I love El wire!

I also figured out how to swap out my goggle lenses. It's not that easy to change them so I am going to leave the clears in and wear my sunglasses, should the need arise.

Still trying to find P clamps for my bike rack thingie. Two hardware stores have been dead ends so far. Going to try OSH next.

Just went through and wiped down my shark fins.. Checked the EL wire.. Only a couple are dead dead dead. Trip to Harbor freight for gloves, vise grips, zip ties a mallet and rope. - dug out the duffel with my tarps and rebar.. Everything is still dusty ;)

Danibell, I had the p-clamps that came with the bike. VERY frustrating trying to fit a rack to a bike. I ended up using hose clamps. (No little nuts and bolts to deal with. Plus they start big and end up fitting anything.

took truck into mechanics today , it takes a bit in morning to get into drive about 7 sec. Reverse goes right in , mechanic says may be a leak from the valve body and it takes a bit to pump some fluid in there. He said check it in the morning and see if its ti full, if it is then thats it. He says they can go along time that way.

Empty Honey bears for my trail mix. (from work).
Husbank bought a bunch of stuff on my food list. He's a good sport since he doesn't come with.

Hey! can I safely write on my car with a dry erase marker? That would eliminate the need for a message board. Maybe I'll try it on the neighbors car.

Yes, I'm drunk. Thanks for asking.

Thank you Crypto. It was originally a typo and I kept it.

God. I finished a tumbler of cheap wine and now it's a trudge to type. Thank God for spell check.

Crypto, do you remember last year. I found you at the m&g. I don't know if I told you, I thought you were a man. And I thought Shamballa was a woman. God I love sharp cheddar cheese. My John is out side now and I wish he would come in and fix dinner. (Wine can do that to you.) This year I'm wrangling tables and doing a bunch of stuff for the partay. You guys are my internet friends. I love it when we get face time.

I'll sober up in an hour or 2 and read this. Isn't life funny. I get drunk for approx. 1½ hrs a day. Can't wait to be on vacation.

NO. YOU know what I mean. I drink a small glass of wine before dinner and get smashed. We eat dinner early. I'll be sober by TV time.

I got lots of ex-large heavy duty garbage bags. Heaven forbid that it should rain towards the end of the week and I would have to put muddy stuff in my van. I don't mind the dust.

Plus, I can wear them if it rains.
