Want to demo or teach martial arts?

We're doing some classes/seminars/demos at Camp Settle This Like Men, and need folks interested in leading them. They start at 4:00 everyday, last about an hour, or as long as you have material. Open to all styles, including boxing, striking, grappling. Have some fun, share your knowledge! We'll be camped wherever they put Pink Fuzzy Monkey camp.

Anybody? I need judo, aikido, boxing, kick boxing, grappling, anybody? It'll be fun! There will be pie and punch!

Are you still looking for people to teach classes? I can teach capoeira, and perhaps some really basic aikido if I can remember it.

Yes, a bit of both would be great! When? We have classes at 4 every day?

Is there going to be a mat there suitable for grappling? I might swing by and see if there is anyone who wants to "roll" a bit. No not Raver roll, Gracie roll. I've done it for a bunch of years.

yes , i can show movements and combos , cant box anymore . Got cancer back when I was 50 and they cut thru my jaw to get at it. Have a metal plate in there
now. Not sure how strong it is.

12x12 ring with 1/2 foam! Definitely doing some grappling!

First rule of grappling: Never challenge anybody named Gracie, Thiago, Marcelo, or Ribiero, if he has a normal name but pronounces it funny (ie Roger), has big puffy ears, or speaks Portuguese.

That's me in the middle after being reminded how big of a difference there is in a purple belt that can take 5 hard years to get and a black belt with a lifetime of experience. I'll try to come by.

I'll be at 10 and G and I'm bringing 10' by 10' roll up mats. I train at ralph gracie SF as well as my buddy who will be there. Were down to get some rolls in so bring a gi!

this me punching the bag a couple years after I recovered from everything , was still only 130 lbs there. Was 175 but radiation and pain meds got me down to 125lbs

I had bad arthris in both arms and couldnt lift them above my head , at 1st i just started to tap the bag lightly , it slowly broke the rust out of my shoulders

If his name start with an R but he pronounces it "H", then run away.

That was great, and thanks to everyone who came out to play and teach. We ended up leaving on Friday, but we had great turnouts and some awesome instruction on the four days we were up and running. Next time we'll have a larger mat and a ring dedicated solely to CSTLM, so the foam won't be coming up the whole freaking time.

Tatonka, you were missed. We had a great time and way more folks than I thought we would. Most people were fired up for grappling and thai boxing, but good boxing skills are so valuable!

Hi I was wondering if use guys are planning doing anything like this again this year I would be interested in some grappling I do BJJ in Ireland and would love to do some on the playa this year. I didn't know use had this last year was disappointed when I read this as I missed it.
