Hi there,
After 5 years of something getting in the way of making it to BM, I finally am making it happen this year!
Only problem is the 5 people I was share an RV with had to cancel for a variety of reasons (money, personal events, etc). This leaves me too late to ditch my RV reservation.
The RV sleeps 5-6, and will be delivered / picked up from the Playa. It is $4200 (not including gas for generator which we can haul in or pay a fee to have them deliver as well). They will stock with fresh water and refill by appointment - everything else (bedding, kitchen supplies) we're to bring in ourselves. We will have to haul trash out and do cursory cleaning but not worry about dust cleaning.
I'm looking for cool, respectful, and positive people to share this with. I have the option of parking it at my uncle's camp, but am open to aligning with a cool crew you're connected with. I am of course nervous opening up to live and share this experience with strangers but I am hoping for the best. Looking for people who are down to pull their weight, and use the RV as a place to re-charge and relax.
I'm hoping to connect with people who can help show up with supplies and share this experience with.
About me: 32, from San Francisco, frequent traveler, female. Hope to hear from you!

Re: 4-5 spaces open in RV
That's a lot of people in one RV.
I'd suggest that you keep it to 3.
I'd also suggest each camper also bring a tent to escape to, store stuff in, etc.
Good luck!

You're the second person to mention that, I appreciate the advice!

Re: 4-5 spaces open in RV
They're clearly not from Texas... and I'm wondering if you really are as I've seen no mention of how much duct tape you will be bringing. I've not lived in Texas for a while, so I'm on to Gaffer tape.
On a serious note, my guess is 4 is the max if you can cover the costs. It's not so much a question of space is it is everyone respecting every one else's space.

Oh, but I AM from Texas.
I've traveled with 6+ in an RV.
I can't recommend it for BM.

Just an update: I ended up dumping the RV reservation and found another spot in an RV. Best of luck to all who messaged me!
There's 5 of us in this new one, but I'm hoping for the best

Congratulations!
I have retitled this thread as "FILLED" to save RV-seekers some time.
Google "house rules for RVs ePlaya" if you want some helpful tips on surviving 5 folks to one RV. There is another called the RV Users Survival Guide or similar. It's good stuff. Good luck!
