Well, I do very much want to have at least one biological child before my fertility goes kaput, so perhaps something can be arranged. And hugs right back at ya! But don't get fresh, buddy.

But he's willing to bear the child, I wouldn't dismiss that deal so quickly. Just saying.
Although if he starts to become too friendly, you should drag him over to one of those camps with a X-frame.

Dang, you're good!

I've been wrestling with bicycles that other people assembled incorrectly all day, plus a race car tire that gave me a huge blister in my right hand from dismounting it -- by hand. ( On a Playa vehicle, yes.) Then the Neighborhood Urchins stormed in with a bicycle wheel that looks like a figure 8, to be repaired instantly, if not sooner. So at 5 o'beer sharp I hit it -- just to make a point to myself. (Retirement has its privileges.)

Well.... It's 6 o'clock, time to install a new wheel on that bicycle.

What's this thread about, again?....

You know in a few more years when the last reservations of my old flatmate go away, I bet the two of you would get along extremely well. I'll tell you about him at the meet and greet if we remember.

Once the ponies came out, and men offered to carry a child to term I figured the point was made. Which biased off those two things would be to literally embrace it by headbutting and smexy nuzzling.

(CAUTION. Thread drift in progress. CAUTION. Thread drift in progress. ...)

All right, I slapped a wheel on that bike. That's the second time in a week they have brought that very bike in, looking like it was backed over by a parent's car. And I gave them the bike in the first place. No, wait! Actually, some Burner probably gave it to them, and Elliot's Bicycle Service And Wine Bar was the conduit. There is simply no more destructive force on Earth than a ten year old boy.

Now.... I swear I was taught in school, half a century ago, in Norway, that Muslims expect their Prophet to return, and will be born to a man. So believers wear hugely baggy pants so the Immaculate Baby will not be crushed or suffocated when He suddenly materializes in the man's pants. I may remember wrong.

I'm afraid the whole abstinence, fasting and five time daily prayers are a deal-breaker for me.I don't find the 72 virgins an adequate incentive (now make it a handful of experienced ladies and we'll talk). Besides anything that prevents women's most beautiful and sexiest attributes from being prominently displayed is a definite show-stopper.

Get your mind out of the gutter, Ygmir, I'm talking smiles here.

What disturbs me is that you may not remember wrong. All sorts of garbage they teach in schools. (Although, my schooling is also out of date, and American except for that year in Cambridge.)

Damn it! We almost drifted out of the smexy good times lane and into Elliot needs another cooler lane.

If we're going to stay in this lane, perhaps Littlebird can fill us in on her camps prom night?

I really don't know much about it yet, except that it (obviously) has a prom theme. There will be a photo kissing booth using a polaroid. There will be booze, of course. Definitely some sort of punch, probably more. Generally speaking, the camp will have a buttload of fire effects that I've seen via video. I'm impressed as hell by them, but I have the feeling I will be impressed and wowed by pretty much everything I see; I have no idea where the camp's fire effects lie on the BM-impressiveness-spectrum. Come by! It overlaps some with the ePlaya meet and greet, though. I'm trying to get to both if I can.

 I know, FIGJAM, I keep telling myself that I'm going to make it to both, but then I think about how starting off the night at my home camp getting all drunk and cozy drastically reduces the odds that I'm going to get myself across the esplanade at some point. :(

You could start at the M&G, then return home for slow dancing and spiked punch.

Hell yeah, all you guys are more than welcome to! And that really is a lovely idea, C187.

As somewhat of an aside, I'm feeling all sorts of frazzled these days as next Monday draws closer; I'm starting to now just feel super overwhelmed with making sure I am READY, as in logistically speaking. I will come to the m&g; I *want* to come to the m&g. But first I have to figure out what the hell to buy at the grocery store for next week. And stress out about stupid things that I suspect essentially don't matter.
