9:30 and Open Playa: What's the Deal with streets M and N?

Hi all,
We have camped at 9:30 and the perimeter street (whichever street is facing the open playa) for the last 4 years. We camp there because we have are an unregistered theme camp, there is always plenty of space to spread out, and we like to be able to access the open playa easily... like taking 10 steps from our camp. I have been looking at the map for Burning Man this year (http://www.burningman.com/preparation/m ... Web_LG.jpg), and I noticed that the last highlighted street is Laissez Faire. However, there are 2 more streets which are shaded grey on the map... Does anyone know if/when these streets will be opened??? If we want to camp on open playa, will we need to (and can we) set up on M (on Monday)???

Any and all information is greatly appreciated!!!

This will be my 9th year Burning! Soooo freaking stoked!

Those faux streets appear on the 2012 planning map as well. My guess is they're just there in case.

Those aren't surface streets, those are the BRC subway perimeter routes. They need two so trains running in opposite directions don't collide.

oh that's awesome. It was about time they updated the public transport in BRC. Buses are always late if they show up at all... so unreliable!

I found information of the Subway system- http://www.blackrockcitysubway.com/

But this still doesn't show any stations out beyond L, could some other transit authority be responsible for those stations? That must be out of the BRC metro's jurisdiction. People in the outer lying areas always have less access to public services. The connected people down town just don't seem to care...
This year we just plan to take a water taxi, what with the monsoon season setting in.
