Improvisational Theater

Hello All,

I am trying to find a group of improvisers (comedy, theater) to work on a new improv form based on the Cargo Cult theme.

Anyone interested sound off on this thread and we can get this rolling.

It would take a little time to get on its feet, but I'm thinking something like this:

A source scene

(sweep edit)

Scenes based on a deliberate misinterpretation of some element of the source scene

(tag edits, seeps, etc. to move between scenes)

The source scene returns where the misinterpretations are true

Anyone with an improv background interested in doing this?

Hmmmm... we have a good number of improvisers at The Lost Penguin, several of whom are very good.

We're having a show Friday night called 'Lunacy Cabaret' - if you care to try out your new form, drop by beforehand and ask for our Hosts (Sketchy and Lightswitch) and pitch it to them ! I think it would be fun.

I just found out that a few people that perform at my home theater will be there, so this looks more and more feasible.
