Hexayurt Materials Help? (Home depot screw up)

So, Making 2 Yurts. Purchased 10 Sheets of R-Max a week ago, and ordered the rest. Went to get it yesterday, and they "lost" it. Said impossible to get more... BUT they had 1" 4x8 sheets that are "virtually identical" and half the price.

Foil 1-side, white styrofoam on other side. Bought 'em and brought 'em home...

And saw how diff. they are.

Am I good? Or do I need to raise hell at the Depot?

You need to raise hell. The stuff they sent you home with will not work for a hexayurt. Is there another Home Depot in your area, or maybe a contractor/building supply place? You could also check and see if they have enough RMAX in a different thickness, 3/4 or 1.5".

Those bloody fools at the first home despot should have called or checked other local stores' inventories for you. Maybe even have had it brought to you. I don't know how well those people understand ordinary home repair, but you can't expect them to know about hexayurts...
You have to go back and return anyway. If you're up for it, raise a little hell.

Hey, thanks for great advice. Did as y'all suggested (no tutu required, but...) and walked out with 1.5" that they "didn't know they had... Because didn't show up in inventory..."

Yeah. I found it by walking around and reading the labels on the upper stacks.

So, gonna start taping and cutting. Thanks again...
