To answer your question though, I agree with 9ah - be radically self reliant, figure out your own meals (like most participants do). With resources like the internet around, I can't imagine it would be that difficult to locate groceries, delis, etc. in Reno where you could get kosher food.

Glatt kosher on the playa is very difficult as is 'just' kosher. The entire playa is permeated with bacon and bacon related foods.
A suggestion is to bring your own cookware, plates and utensils. Plan on your own food, such as eggs, cereals as well as lots of canned goods for other meals. You might just consider 'reform' kosher for the week. Things that could be kosher, but not necessarily kosher. Chicken falls into this category. (bacon cheeseburgers do not)

Another good thing is energy and snack bars. Plan well and you can make it work.

There's someone else looking for a kosher camp--or at least a rabbi--as well. I told her to look at this list and call/email anyone that might fit. Do it today, as a lot of people are on the playa already, or on travel, so do a broad search.
Would it be possible to fly into San Francisco and shop there? Eric might know where, but the internet is definitely your friend.

Wow. Ummm cutting it a bit close.

That said, if you tone down your food expectations (remember, most people experience a decrease in appetite) you should easily be able to put together a meal plan on your own. Get some kosher packaged foods and fly out with them. New York and New Jersey have a ton of options. Get some fruits and vegetables in Reno.

For the future, I wonder if one can get IDF MRE's. That would be a simple solution.

Also, that Playa standard, Tasty Bites, is kosher.
