BRC Weather
Black Rock City now has its own weather station - check it out!
It's located in the heart of BRC, near Center Camp. Data is updated every 5 minutes or so. Enjoy!

Re: BRC Weather
itll be interesting to see how the weather is on the playa..
in the past.., if i recall correctly, the old site was weather from gerlach.. and ive always felt that the heat (and wind) out on the playa should be a bit more than in town
you can see charts of previous years of weather from the gerlach station on this websit:
http://www.dongrays.com/burningman2012/
http://www.dongrays.com/burningman2011/

http://www.dongrays.com/burningman2009/
http://www.dongrays.com/burningman2008/
http://www.dongrays.com/burningman2007/
.....thats probably enough to give ya an idea of the avg weather in the area of burning man.

Re: BRC Weather
Looks like it rained in Reno pretty hard and on the playa today and Thursday? We are delaying our early entry since the weather station link seems to be down for playa conditions.
Re: BRC Weather
If watching the radar means anything, there has been little to no rain on the playa.
Overcast just means DPW doesn't have to work in the hot sunshine.

Re: BRC Weather

High wind yesterday was 44!
In regards to rainfall, I had equipment on the playa a few years ago for the Monday "Double Rainbow" shower.
I measured .05 (1/20th of an inch). The playa got TWICE that amount on Tuesday.
