Yipes! Go to slip into something more comfortable and look what happens. CBA, you're too much. How about a simple ol' brewski and we talk a bit about the current drama on the boards.

those hot pants had a magic power all their own. The night I wore those out, in the pictured outfit, I went to one of the much maligned 'rave' camps. I had to beat the boys off with a stick.

unfortunately they were not mine; borrowed. Sad.

Well, I've been stewing, if you'll forgive the phrase, about Badger's comment in Case Studies about half the posts on the boards being inane. True of course, but that seems to have helped set off a bout of introspection, that, among other things, took Rian down for the count. For me, all the inanity actually makes me care about people on the eplaya more than the well-reasoned posts about fixing BM or whatever could put together. I mean, would you really want to have a serious conversation with a guy who calls himself 'buckethead alien'?

Yeah, hot pants. Sorry. The boys liked those shiny ones I had on. They were my sister's from her early 1980s NYC clubbing days.

Hey all.

So what's this I hear about drama (oh my)?

Guess I don't spend enough time perusing here.

Geekster - I agree that after the holidays is probably a good time to try and get people interested. Thing is that I'm a long way from the bay, so my only involvement will probably be on playa, so I can 'start' anytime.

Oh, and I'll have some of that fancy brazilian stuff...cachaça..or whatever it's called.

BHA, I think there's a place for both deep intelectualism and inanity here. And I think they can coincide in the same thread, just like they do when we meet in person. Sometimes it's hard to keep the conversation going, but that's just the way it is.

inane

I think we are doing better than we were at this time last year. Having been here for a while now, and embarassed by the big fucking number under my name, I truly do think these things are both cyclical and evolutionary. I am sad Rian is out. I hope it's only temporary. I dig that girl. There are others I miss here as well but such is life; people come and go. Now there are new folks that I am excited to meet on the playa next year, assuming I make it to the meet and greet.

there is nothing going on here to such an extent that I contemplate quitting. This is in stark contrast to this time last year.
