Wanna bet on how much snow is on the playa right now? The freeze here is at 3-4000 ft. Those people in that big state. You you know...sounds like a can of duh. Are they all snuggled in making babys?

Big winter coming our way! Last night the snow was down to about 8,000 feet. This makes me very very very happy.

Tonight's Gerlach weather:

Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Snow level 5000 feet. Lows 24 to 34. North winds 10 to 15 mph.

Current temp is 41 degrees so I would say that there is no snow on the playa at this particular moment.

It would be cool to have a live web cam from the work ranch, though!
