Our older cat's warming up to the kitten a bit. She still howls and hisses, but instead of just staying as far away as possible, she'll come into the same room and scowl from a distance. Last night we even had 'em both sleeping in bed with us. The kitten just has hearts and stars in her eyes when she looks at the older cat, and good on her for being respectful and keeping her distance when the older one hisses. They'll be best friends in no time.
We got up and out early this morning, and I was able to get the remaining fundraiser gifts mailed out for the people we didn't connect with on the playa. Man, though, doing the customs forms was a pain - the first lady pointed to the big "customs form" and sent me back to fill 'em out, then back in line and waited on by another lady, I learn that's the wrong customs form, and only to be used on premium freight.... oy, back out of line, fill out new forms, then queue back up again.
Back to kitten duty, then hopefully later I'll get to start going through my pics
