Actually, it's "Everyone born in September" which is something like 3/4 of my office.

Mine is on the 21st.

"The day everything started to die" according to my older brother

"The day everything became colourful" countered by my mother.

"Fall" to the rest of the world.


Two pieces of cake sounds about right, as I forgot about breakfast today. I do believe I may abide....

...and Thanks, Ratty!!! I actually plan on it being an incredible birthday as my eldest sister from Montreal will be here so we can finally deal with a bit of a longstanding hovering cloud together. Of All The Things That I Could Wish For, for this one to be done is the biggest. So YAY! :D

Heck no!!! I'm not really the kind of person who can enjoy a frightfully expensive anything as all I think the whole time is "we could have made/bought/found this so much cheaper, and the difference could have afforded us xyz ........."

I think he'll probably cook though. He's a way better cook than I am, so that's always a treat!

I'll start dropping the hints pronto. 8)
