Hahahahahaha, I win, got less than 4 hours sleep and am now up for work. 12 hour shift and then beers with a co-worker paramedic who has discovered he wants to experience TTITD.

I have already told him that "Burning Man sucks, don't go," but he is determined.

So we are meeting after work at my favorite bar.

Ha~ funny, but when my daughter is struggling or having issues, and I meet with anyone about it, I tend to get emotional. I've shed a tear or two in those meetings, not on purpose, but dang it! It sort of ruins my whole "tough guy" image, though.

and the weird thing is that parenting gets more complex the older they get or is it that I get
used to just be a quick response to each situ
now it is a thoughtful consideration as I weigh the consequences

Hi guys!

this is just the best place to let people know whats going on in your (my) life.

so after the worst burn for me. high expectations, low reality i was really down, i mean really down. probably lower than before i joined here. so i decided to make a few changes in my life, and did it. I told a friend i hadn't seen for (we worked it out) 8 years i would do some diy shite for bacon and beer. i feel great! lets change that. I FEEL GREAT!!!

simply getting out and doing something has totally changed my life. i feel in control again, another friend asked me to do a photoshoot with her (nothing kinky/glamorous) and things have started to move again.

i am totally going to try keep this up, if nothing comes of it well i will do something else. i set a deadline (love that word) of oct 1st to start changing stuff. so ahead of the game so far!

the post playa blues (in reality "my life sucks blues") have completely gone. i still miss you guys so much its painful, but (and its a big butt) i feel better prepared for next year than i did for this year on aug 20th already.

you guys mean so much to me, everyday when i feel down i come here to remind me of how good people can be. not for me, just how good they can be. sure we are all idiots sometimes, but when it comes to "what can we do to help" nobody does it better than MY FRIENDS RIGHT HERE. so i wanted to share, just by existing every single one of you helped me start on a better path, the one UP the hill, not down it.
