Good on you, Grai, I'm sorry to hear about feeling down but glad to see you taking steps to make improvements. Get that momentum going, and making bigger changes will be easy.

Seein' as how this is the bar... I'm having a cup of coffee, to which I added lots of Bailey's Irish cream, some chocolate ice cream, and whipped cream on top.

I hate you for having a beverage far superior to my own.

It's 6pm. I'm going to stop at fairway, pick up some food, some good rum, ginger beer and have a mini Archer marathon with some dark and stormys.

If everything goes right, I'll be slightly hungover and feel guilty enough to go on a cleaning and organizing binge tomorrow.

A party! Hi everyone!
Well, I had the afternoon off from work, and was able to clear out the rest of the truck. It is just about ready for the big bubble bath. Still finding little deposits of playa dust here and there!

*wanders in*

Hi gang!
well, got the call that the condo is a done deal......and of course, as with humans, I had to bribe the owners with 3 months advance rent.........well, I sorta understand. They are renting to 4 college kids. They don't know them, and me saying they are respectful makes no real difference......so, money talks I guess.

leaving for Ventura sometime tonight,to be there for a morning meeting and paper signing......packing andmoving........gonna be a long day!

*pours a round of Bushmills, neatly again*

Hey there BVB!!

Woohoo for the arrival of treasures, GD!

And woohoo for the end of a long, strange, and crazy week.... one crazy ride so far. Hopefully a nice, low-key evening of relaxation with my darling, then tomorrow we'll hit the farmer's market. If we're feeling particularly productive we'll cross the bridge and hit up a lumber yard, otherwise stay around the loft and continue with deplayification.

Watching TV, covered in cats. Larry has a student driver, completely new, so they're sending them on longer haul OTR instead of Larry's usual regional runs. Good thing we stocked up on everything. No clue when he'll be home. Couple weeks or so.

(Hops down onto the bartop)

Heya Bar!

Dang... Two weeks away, huh? That's crappy.

But wait! Did I hear something about war axes and whiskey?!? Sounds like a party. Just mind the tail with that edged weapon.

Glad to hear that you're finding stuff to do graidawg. I think that's the biggest hurdle to cross over... The act of going from being stationary to being in motion. Keep it up! Keep it up!

Let's see... Find something to drink...

(Rummaging through coolers)

(Kicks the automatic banjo box to get it going again)

Missed The CO, I see...

(Still digging around)

Aha! RUM!!!

ARRRG we missed it by that much!

Starting to get burnt out on this six days a week shit. Was tempted to go to work with Baileys in my Coffee and see if anyone noticed. I highly doubt they would.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
