Hi 2013 Attendees,
Our Camp, Camp Serendipity gave out 14 dozen home baked cookies, sticky buns, gallons of iced tea and tons of cool cargo. Our address was 7:15 and Interstellar.
My question. When we would walk to the porta potties on 7 and interstellar, (thanks to the camo that adopted those porta potties and decorated them with fresh flowers, paper, mirrors, air fresheners etc! What a great gift!) Anyway, we would pass a group of wooden structures that looked like construction trailers. They were on the ground, not on wheels, and they made an encampment of around 10 modules.
Does anyone know what that was? Were they official buildings? Did Wealthy Burners show up? A Tour Group? I was just trying to figure out what it was.
Thanks. Any ideas?

What was that on Interstellar?

I have no idea as I didn't see this in person, but you might try looking at the high res moop map on the burning man blog. It has an outline of the placed camps. Perhaps it's on there...

Could they have been shipping pods?? That would make one great camp base..

I would have thought shipping pods, but they had windows, lights, & utilities. 1 had about 8 sleeping bags on the floor. They resembled construction site temporary housing. Fancy smancy...

ESD uses the like for privacy for more serious injuries. It doesn't surprise me that others would have done the same.
Does it matter? Is it better or worse than rvs?

No no, doesn't matter at all. I was curious. My future Camp dreams were taking my thoughts over. I think these were private.
