*pours a tall glass of Preventive Medicine*

Trilo~ I'll drink to that!

Great day 'off work' hahahaa
Cleared a perfect space in the garage for all the big camping stuff and stuffed it all there.
In the process, that unburied the trike! So, thoroughly cleaned the trike! YAY!
Tomorrow, I RIDE!!! (even if it's only to work)

*slides (filled) glasses down the bar, for anyone being proactive against that icky crud spreading around*
*fills a few more, for those recuperating from it*

"To Our Health!!"

*runs back to garage to find something else to clean*

ah.......feeling on the recuperative side of things......dang stomach muscles and ribs are so sore from coughing though.......it's like I was back in the old volleyball days and those workouts...eek.

Patsh: yay you!! how's that table saw?............don't put it outside!
and yay for riding!! does it ride two? maybe you and Andy could ride up for the train trip? I know Marty would love to go for a ride, with his Harley. I could be like the little tag along bringing up the rear on my KLR. I'd ride far enough behind so as not to embarrass you all.

Hey there MS!!
Hi Tinymistic!!

Hi ED. love your Navy anecdotes........

so, I had this "dream"..........we bought a big ole bus, touring/Greyhound type. One person started driving a route which came to each of our houses.........and picked us each up, in turn........it seems it was a several week/month trip, all over North America, Quebec city to Alaska to B.C. to San Diego, Texas. Florida, Carolinas, D.C., Rochester and crisscrossing in between.......culminating at the "eplaya" camp in BRC, which was a huge collection of Bedouin tents, little old travel trailers, Home made and factory, hexa yurts, school busses and a fire truck. it was sort of a circle arrangement, with a shade in the middle containing a bar, with all sorts of furnishings and accoutrements...........

sigh** I awoke before I found out if we ever left.............

Hi Yggy! Don't worry, the table saw will not be put outside. Glad to hear you're feeling better!

The trike does ride two, but that doesn't leave alot of room for gear, especially for such a long ride. Also, it will be the end of January, and chances are, it'll be Cold! (We do have a Frosty Balls and Chilly Boobs Run here every January first, but it's usually only around 100 miles or so.) The best solution would be, a trike-trailer!!

I like that dream of yours! 8)
Seems like a sign that we should start an ePlaya Camp! Count me in...
(technically, since you woke up before we left, we're all still there!)

I loved the bus dream story too!
I really want to get a bus... my common sense is yelling at me not to, because what I have works and has worked for over a decade... but then assholes like Elliot make it seem like such a good idea... goddamm you Elliot! It's your fault!

Just a quick heads-up, the site will be unavailable for a few hours tonight. Some maintenance and under-the-hood stuff I want to work on. I'll start sometime after 10PM PDT tonight (Monday, September 30th) and should be finished within 2-3 hours.
I just saw this.......Ooohhhh! Surprises!

Definitely would get in on the "wagontrain/bus" camp !

Geez , Marty has a Harley ? I knew he was sexy but now its over the top.

Patsh , The motorized trike my son put together for me (and which did not work on the playa) goes scary fast,
Although he shows me the wheelies he can do with it ; I am not enthusiastic.
