Oooh. Patsh, a trailer ... do it! So cool! MyLarry lusts after bike trailers for his Harley. I just can't make the long rides anymore, back pinches and my leg goes numb.
All this bus talk makes me want to bust out a neglected project. I have a one inch scale model bus "dollhouse" I started and never finished. I should get on that over the winter, the figure out how to display it at camp. People would want to play with it, si it would need to be "under glass".
I was raised on cross-country drives when Dad was in the Navy and he changed coasts a few times. When I was a teen, my friend and I wanted to get a van and just trip across country. No thought of how we'd pay for it. But we were cute! She fell out of my life in 85, I was in the Navy and she was into the recreational life in LA. Miss her. And now I get my long drive fixes when I go on the truck with Larry. I can't drive, but I do love the road under my bum.
Yep under glass would be best. That reminds me of these guys:
Herring Kamp 1:87 scale Was a registered theme camp kept under glass in the B(o)(o)by Bar in 2007.
