That's me. Nearly drowned when I was 3. My father pulled me from the bottom of the pool and taught me how to swim immediately. I was snorkling in open ocean by 6. SCUBA at 12. Divemaster at 18. I'd be in the ocean every day if I could.

As a young woman I ALWAYS embarrassed my children. I would see there was no tampon machine in a stores rest room and demand to see the manager. We almost got arrested in the Oakland airport. I told the mgr at Target to consider my period the Super Bowl and the machine as the TV. "Next month when the Superbowl gets here there Better be a Fuckin TV!" K-Mart kept their supplies at 'lay-away'. A woman was expected to leave the restroom and go purchase single kotex from a lay-away counter. You can imagine what I did there.

Anyway, all of this fuss in my past is the reason I have been given the job of removing money from the feminine hygiene machines at work. Cosmic Karma works in strange ways.
