I have a great number of friends and family who are curious about Burning Man. So I made a video to describe why I go to this arts festival in the Nevada desert.
Using footage from my camera, footage from a drone over Burning Man, and footage recorded against a green screen.
I posted it on the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKCh3BgZ ... sppAnxP6ez YouTube:

Big thanks to all them humans who made that event great, and Eddie Codel who put a camera on a drone and published the footage free online - thanks!
The man spinning in a hoop is from Lucent Dossier circus - that happened the night of the Burn and it was wonderous.
Camp Green Home hosted me; I included footage from Taylor Skillin's compilation of timelapse from our camp GoPro "meet me by the trash fence" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NosXmFt_4DY
I followed a Marching Band around the playa and they kept the dusty boogying. I believe they might be the March Fourth Burning Man Marching Band, if they have any name at all. Their music liberally seasons this film, gracias! Burning Man is otherwise dominated by amplified music (as you probably know if you participate in these forums).
My first Burning Man was in 1994; I have some writings up about my BM experiences over the years here: http://links.net/vita/sf/burnman.html
