I am tuning into this late... so no suites at Harrahs? Since you have the AMTRAKathon obviously in honor of my birthday, how can I throw another party? Do we need to get the Prez suite at the Sands again? Let me know Iggy so we can have the cross the hall thing going on.

Update. We have sold 82% of the spaces on the train! So if anyone else wants in you should let me know ASAP. I am also securing rooms for visitors at Harrah's at our price naturally. I know people are looking for suites around town, but for those of you who after the decadence just need a place to crash, I will see to it you're taken care of. This includes people going straight into Reno and bypassing the train altogether. This should be another memorable year indeed.

I don't know if I ever told eplaya about going home on the train in 09. There were two old guys who had this on-going conversation, way too loud, and I wasn't feeling like shutting them up. I regretted that tactic when there were grooming tips on washing your ass on Amtrak.

ok, got 3 suites next to and across the hall from each other at the Sands. Same as last year, with one more.
the smaller one adjoining the Prez (Red and Oliver) is not taken. Oliver and Red will let me know soon if a friend wants it, if not, it's up for grabs. 140 bucks, IIRC, might be a little less. 17th floor, across from mine, next to Red.
Already reserved and paid for by me, so, let me know.

We have 47 of the 50 spaces claimed for AMTRAKathon 2014. We can squeeze in another three on top of that, so we technically have six openings max (unless you are not coming down the hill with us on Sunday like Vulture Chow). It does not look like anyone from Laguna Del Sol, the nudist resort outside of Sacramento, will be there so that means more burners!

I would like to announce that we are officially sold out for AMTRAKathon 2014. Got Vulture Chow's and Magic Marty's reservations and that put us over the top. Anyone else can either meet us in Reno (we are honoring our room promise at Harrah's) or go on a wait list for the train in case somebody drops out. See you in the party suites.

Lets sort of organize the pot luck food/booze for Saturday night?
we could say something like "bring a bottle or six pack of something, and some food to share"
or get fancy and somehow assign/volunteer to bring certain things?
It looks like at the minimum, we'll have two large suites (Red/Olivers and mine), and maybe even 3 adjoining/across the hall, to party in. with bars and sinks and jacuzzi tubs....couches, chairs, straps and cuffs, riding crops.......no uh did I say that?......

Harrah's as it came with the Train. But I'm staying two nights in SF and one in Napa before I even hit the train. Should give me a chance to numb my liver before the main event.

It was a blast driving out to the playa last year.........who wants to do it again on Sunday? we'll want to have enough cars/trucks so it's a comfy ride. Unless there are enough to be worth renting a van/bus sort of thing?

will someone be willing to make a sort of "list" for the potluck on Sat. night (Reds Birthday)?
does not have to be super official, but it'd be nice for folks to see stuff so they can know what to bring?
