Oldie but a goodie (and sadly I can't find any videos from it, or even mp3s to link to):

Ellorum - a couple years ago Jane Wiedlan joined us on our annual "TrannyShack Reno" trip - two buses filled with drunk drag queens going from SF to Reno for Easter, then coming back Easter Sunday. She was exactly as much fun as you'd expect her to be, and stayed in character as a Frenchman all weekend.

Something which is probably an over-produced sappy love song, but it's by some russian who seems to have left no trace of himself on the internets (in English), so I actually like it. If I knew the lyrics, I probably couldn't stand it.
tpbm totally understands this.

It's that time of year again. Note the fact that the symphony is 'synching' with a film.

Saturday. Atlanta, GA.

SEC Championship. Missouri vs. Auburn. This one will be a barnburner. Count on it.

This one I have to dedicate to my overwhelming desire to return to the playa in 2014:

Thank whatever lucky stars I have that I'm NOT in Mississippi, though.

Get me over to Texas, though....for a little bit of "that little ol' band from Texas".

Why can't she come there a couple of days after Labor Day?

I stayed at the Silver Legacy in +2012 after the event. Burner friendly, and we ran into a bunch of burners there, including some of our own Midwesterners that had been involved in the CORE project.

After two nights, I got a call in the a.m. from Alabama from somebody watching the boards for me, turns out the Midwest Burners' CORE project team had had an injury accident in Coalville, Utah. They needed help. I hopped in the truck and sped across Nevada, then across the salt flats (setting a world land speed record for a beat-up 2001 Toyota Tundra on asphalt as I sped across the flats) and over the mountains to Evanston, Wyoming, where they took two of them to the hospital and treated them. We were able to transport them and all of their equipment back to Kansas City over the next three days. Their truck, a 2011 Nissan Titan, was totaled.

To my 16 year old pug lapping up water. Good doggy!

Have you ever tried to drink water from a bowl like a dog? It's really not the same as a dog though because we have the ability to suck the water up like a vacuum. Dogs don't, they just lap.
Oh my god, it's HUGE!
