Something is bothering me...Everybody that steps up on that HIGH pedestal of being the most 'burner', non-mooper attending the event...Do you EVER moop? Not once. Not even when you're drunk, and the wind is howling, and you can't find your moop bag? NEVER?

OK. I'll go first. I allow myself one moop for the entire week+ that I attend. I figure that I bend over no less than 100 times to retrieve that erant piece of unwanted crap. I'm allowed to let one fly. (In the literal sense). One zip tie eludes me in the dark. One wrapper from my cup-o-noodles skitters away. One hair tie gets stomped into the dust as I try in vain to control my fake dreads. If I let it disappear into the beige landscape then I know I have no more freebies for the week. ONE. I think that's not bad. So sue me.

While I can appreciate the OP's enthusiasm, imposing a surcharge simply because one cant make it early in the week is ridiculous. In the default world, I am constantly surrounded by fees, taxes, surcharges and the like. I sure as fuck dont need that from the org.

In 09, I was working on a large construction project is southern Neveda. It was during the week of burningman, and there was simply no way I could make the event. I almost left the jobsite Friday night of the burn, and would have arrived Saturday morning. But the cost of fuel, a ticket, and a few other items seemed too high considering I'd only be there 48 hours or less.

So by the OP's reasoning, I should be penalized.

Yea, not feeling that....

I mooped 2 unlit cigarettes.

i.e. "Hey, nipple, come help us change fuel over." Just before I was about to light up. Set the cigarette down... come back and it's gone.

It's my fond hope that someone smoked them.

Sorry guys. You deserved better.

Our camp mooped two small hexayurts from the Tuesday pre-entry storm. The owners went "shopping" on the trash fence the next morning with no luck.

I mooped my good headlamp. It strikes me that Lost and Found could be titled Mooped and Mooped, since like aloha, we treat it as an auto-antonym.

Totally need a button maker.

Because now I really need to make one that reads: "Fuck You!! I PAID my asshole tax!!"
