Hey I was near earth and 5:00...any news about the weird little bar not at the corner but near it?
Was that up the street and to the right, and was filled every night? They were from Sacto (at least one of them, a Clamper, was) and they looked like they were having fun every, every night.

Kewl! I was at Earth and 5:00 too, in the little caravan that said "Large Marge" on the side. That bar was down the street from me and I just loved the way their music kept embracing different themes... all good! We danced to a David Bowie set, there was Sex Pistols, Oingo Boingo, Chant, Techno, real diverse.

Smiling through the big bottle of their Early Times whiskey, I asked a spikey haired guy behind the bar if he was responsible for the wonderful music selection. "If I were, I wouln't be playing this shit" he moped of early Bowie like somebody's reluctant little brother who got dragged there. It made my night! The music was so good it was hard to plug the ears and get some sleep but cool when I took them out and their whole theme had changed by morning.

Sometimes it's all about the music... oh, and the booze too!

a) You have constant dreams of crazy festivals.
b) Your still getting dressed in the morning out of a suit case.
c) It's tooo cold here.
d) You draw the burning man simbol constantly, like when you had a crush on someone in middle school.
e) You relate the city lights to the esplinade from a distance.
I ran my mouth off a bit to much ... what did I say, well you just laughed it off and it was all okay...

1. You find beef jerky in every pocket.
2. You think it is normal to go outside naked and dance at any hour.
3. You caress strangers just to pass good energy around
4. You don't wash your hair for four days and then try to find new hair styles
5. You see new costume ideas everywhere you turn.
6. You start inventing new fire twirling equipment.
7. You're sure belly dancing should be an olympic sport.

Ha! I love it! Very good, and actually partially true.

I know I haven't decompressed yet, I'm still visit Bruning Man and the people I met in my dreams at night, and I day dream about them during the day. I want to go back!

You've got more Eplaya Topic Reply Notifications in your bulk mail box than you do spam messages for viagra, natural endowment enhancements, and cialis combined.

You expect every person you see in a cowboy hat to be wearing pink leg warmers too, and you're totally disappointed when they are not.

When someone lights a cigarette you are entranced by the flame.

You reconsider every time before dusting.

Every time you drive by Jiffy Lube you expect to say SUCKS.

and...

You actually do a double take while driving by a garage sale thinking you saw a wooden puzzle dinosaur.

...every time you see 'playland' you're convinced it says 'playaland'
...you can't help noticing that in one brand of container the lid looks like it's got the man
...every time you see orange ANYTHING you think you should get it for orange camp.
...you're completely entranced by the patterns for costumes at the fabric store
...you find yourself eyeing shiny shit you never would have considered two years ago.
....toys are really really cool. and not just the sex toys.

oh wait. i gues this shit just makes me a burner, decompressed or not. *shrug*

Whether or not something is battery operatable play(a)s an important part in whether or not you actually purchase it.

3 months later and......

1. I still haven't totally unpacked my car trunk yet.

2. I still haven't vaccumed the playa dust out of my carpets of my car.

3. I'm still using wet wipes.....for everything.

4. I sometimes go out on my patio porch and pee in a large jar with
my pee funnel.

5. I still have 3 loads of playa laundry to do. It's still piled up a corner,
looking at me, beckoning me to "go back home". (I just am NOT
willing to let go of the precious playa dust yet...or maybe I'm
just a lazy bitch :) )

6. On my birthday a few weeks ago, I wondered what it would be like
to have my birthday on the playa.

7. Today I'm wondering what Thanksgiving would be like on the playa.

8. On Christmas, I wonder if Santa will leave presents on the playa,
instead of PEEING on the playa like that one FAKE-Santa did during
the Burn. HA! You didn't think I saw you, DID YOU, Santa Claus??!!!

I miss the playa.
I miss my friends.
I miss Home.

Are you sure there weren't any opportunistic vampires who took a drink during this scene?
