I am. My new housemate has a lovely collie/kelpie cross and I'm very happy to have a dog at home again. With my work hours/travelling I'm a while off being able to have one of my own. That said, I do have a soft spot for turtleburp and bumble's cat Syd.

TPBM has never tried Irish set dancing but would like me to show them how.

Not really, My extended family doesn't like us but my mother insists we go every year anyways (to my dads side's) Possibly part of why I don't like holidays.

TPBM needs a drink

Yeah. But I'm getting up at 6:45 to go on my walk. I hope we see cats.
TPBM also looks for cats when out and about.

Every morning when I walk the Grandkids to school, we see many cat. Some will come up to us and we pet them. Kids love it.

TPBM wonders what the new BM rules with law enforcement really means.

Maybe. I was non-consensually inducted into one, led by someone annoying, so I left.
TPBM also has very little idea of what goes on in those facebook groups.

If you're sending me physical mail it had better contain a physical object. Words and numbers belong on glowing screens where they can be searched, saved, and referenced.

TPBM hates the term "snail mail".

I do. But I hate them even more when they are walking down the street or driving their fucking cars and looking at/playing with their fucking "smart" phones.
tpbm is sure they are on facebook looking at what their friends ate for lunch... and what came out from it the next day.

I've decided to up the "extreme" factor in my life by going for "recklessly pessimistic."
TPBM is hoping to one day invent a phrase as annoyingly meaningless as "pre-owned".

I do like the term "gently pre-owned" while at best I am hoping for a typo that speaks volumes.

Since I am retired, working a half day would be a long day to me, but would be good for some extra BM cash.

TPBM would like to be retired too.

California Highway Patrol? Is Eric Estrada coming? I personally ignore the theme.

I have an on-going difficult relationship, but nowhere near as bad as Eric's.
TPBM wants a date with Eric's ipod.

I did have an interesting bus ride once, a long one, next to a young man who had just learned to do that in the ycc? or some sort of corps of that type. He made it sound quite interesting. He kept repeating that you don't want any continuous vertical seams.

tpbm has another bit of trailcraft to add to the thread.

indeed I do. not only no verticle, but no seams of any length. and add batter as you build to counteract slope creep. a dry stack wall is arguably the longest lasting type structure in the world.

That does sound like fun.

TPBM think I'm weird for liking physical labor.

Nope I don't. Know a few people who think what I do is hard, but can go out move rocks and dig ditches all day. Sometimes I think I didn't choose so wisely. When you finish a job that requires physocal labor it is so much more rewarding.
