yep. i actually had a dream to that effect a couple weeks ago. found myself driving me n mine away from something crazy and headed straight for the playa. got there and saw lights and cars and tents. looked like the old days. someone 'greeted' us on the road out and i just started crying. he said, 'i know. we're here.'

if things went loco out here, you know a bunch of burners would head out there. and auto-organization would just happen. and co-operative self-reliance. people would just greet, and build, and cook. and we'd just sit it out and figure out what to do next. except for the problem of fallout...

It's a long f**king haul from the Midwest in the best of times , but I can't think of anyone I'd rather spend the end of days with than you people........
