No, but that sounds very zen.

TPBM agrees that David Attenborough is the best narrator on Planet Earth. And gets the half-joke.

I am usually skeptical about the entertainment machine built on debunking things we commonly hold to be true. I like to learn new things, but it bothers me to be told I am so wrong about things I've relied on for years. Like a headline saying: "Mother's milk is toxic and should never be given to babies."

Sure do, or at least having someone tell me the story they're reading about and what they're thinking.
Having someone (something) read to you is also a great way to proof-read your writing. Toss that stuff into a text-to-speech engine and listen to the words being spoken back to you. I can't take credit for that idea though.

No, I secretly want to write a book. But, it never happened, and it's not really burning a whole in my pocket, so I'm guessing that my desire to be a writer wasn't that strong.

Re: The person below me
Not really, female, but no name or face. I do remember the school, it was in VA, near Oceana, in an old courthouse. The year I went through the reading tests so fast the teacher told me I couldn't have read the passages and had just guessed the answers. Oh, and that's why I didn't get a single answer wrong? I do recall that haughty demeanor as she graded my test with the intent of shaming me, and her silence when she sent me back to my seat to wait for the other kids to finish.
