ok I'm sure we'll see the arrows as we come into town, and the nice red circles should be easy enough.

thanks.

Happy Birthday, Tinkermom!

In celebration of your birthday, I'm crocheting a hat. It doesn't appear to be MUCH of a hat yet... I'm kind of winging it... we'll see....

Also, I'm waiting on a friend to arrive to go for a bit of a snowshoe trek back down to the lake. He needs a good letting out of pent up rage against the machine. What better place than center stage for all those lakeside homes.

Maybe I'll bring my harmonica to accompany his tantrum, and we'll just call it art if questioned....
Worry is a misuse of imagination

She had blue skin, And so did he.
He kept it hid And so did she.
They searched for blue Their whole life through,
Then passed right by- And never knew.”

But Yggy, you're known as an iron man already. Doesn't that include the cast iron stomach as well?

indeed it does, Fishy........ergo my statement that I loves me some Bruno's ravioli, and quote from ancient text regarding the penisular cyclops.

Hi Gang! Finally got some warmer weather! Hope my water tans unfreeze.

I have about 12 rolls of 35mm film that survived the fire. I have some idea what is on the film so I know that some of the rolls may be 13 years old and others only 5 to 8 years old. Any opinions as to whether it would be worth it to have them developed?

Okay, I don't really have any technical expertise, but if you can afford it (and everyone sets his/her own definition what "afford" means) they go for it. I guess that's the kind of gamble I'm typically willing to take.

I wonder if you could go to a school who offers photography, explain the age and stuff, and get an opinion? Might be a good chance, the teacher would do it free or cheap, to demonstrate handling and such to students?

BB, find one of the photography places which specializes in older photo restoration, and talk to them about whether it is worth it. I know there's one in Ogden. I keep toying with the idea of taking in the box of 8mm film I have. I know it is pictures of us as kids, I know they can put it on DVD. Just not sure how much it all would cost. I also have a Charlie Chaplain short, "Funny Farm". Original box too.

Soooo early. Larry was home, but had to get up to drive to West Valley to take a load to Costco distro at 6. He has a couple days off for an appointment and a root canal.

I was up early here, awaiting some info on one project that wound up getting pushed back another day, and scrambling through last minute details on something that finally ended up wrapping today... whew! Long day so far, the start of an action-packed week.

Well there's a vacation!
I've been "spending" - and I do mean spending - a lot of time at the dentist lately myself. Ugh.

"Douchebag Executive Emeritus." I think I know that guy, Fishy!

Sorry about your dental miseries. I have a moment now and then when I think I am going to have to endure something expensive, but so far I have been able to beat it back with ibuprofen. *Crosses fingers* I think I can make it a little while longer.

I have been baking cookies, eating cookies, and going to parties where I pretend to be normal for hours on end. Thank goodness I laid in a generous supply of Apple Pie before I hit the season full tilt. 8)

NO MORE SHOPPING unless I run out of brown sugar again.

Those pix of our trip to the Playa last January make me homesick. :(

oh I know this feeling. I cannot talk about business, or taxes, or home ownership, and grow weary of people I meet at gatherings who find these things to be their go to conversation topics with people they've just met... and I pretend to follow by nodding, and wondering if I am faking it well or not.

Elorrum, I do agree and it was turning me reclusive

But this weekend I found 4 complete strangers to whom I volunteered my energy; and it along with a serious diet of the new thin pretzels sprinkled with chocolate, and live music, got me back up.
